Due to Sean Connery's passing, I rewatched many of his things , including his interviews, movies, photos and movie posters. I was thrilled to have spent the past two to three days to understand him. Not only was he an amzing actor, but also he was awesome man with his unique sense of humor. He was born and raised in Scootland, learning the formal British education. As can be seen in this video, he showed his awesomeness and elegances. He was unpretentious and captivating!

It's got nothing to do with authenticity or keeping close to the original Fleming character. The very definition of a Matinée idol. From the days when people flocked to cinemas to spend hours being entertained by these giants. As much as i love Seans later films after Bond, It`s the Bond films that i love him in the most. Especially the beginning scenes of Dr no at the airport. Swaggering around in that suit! I feel sorry for any actor that came after him, except maybe Roger Moore. Roger though had years of experience playing a very similar role in "The Saint". Sean actually came to my town (Inverness) to promote the SNP party. He was maybe 64 ish? I missed it however as there wasn`t much advertizing about it. I would have loved to have met him!
Fantastic to see those interviews again. Sean was head and shoulders above any of the usual actors on the show. They should have had a real Piper for him.
He was such a huge personality and with that he carried a number of fantastic performances very well. He was great in The Untouchables, The Man Who Would Be King, Hitchcock’s Marnie, The Hill, Time Bandits, The Wind and the Lion, The Name of the Rose and my favorite two performances, as Robin Hood and Indiana Jones’ father.
Thank you for these two wonderful memories. Helps a lot to see him just being himself. Dave seemed genuinely concerned that Sean was mad at him for how that first appearance went. Maybe that's why Sean hugged him, to put him at ease. I haven't seen Finding Forrester in years. Will watch it again soon.

It is, honestly, quite incredible and remarkable in which way he is convincing. Not saying that he is 'lying' (more like how he is acting or just about his delivery) but just is immersive (and how or in which way which seem to be multiple appealing like interesting elements). @@arthursteven5601 yep! He was as masculine and as gorgeous as he is on screen. And he was in his 50’s at the time. Long and funny story surrounding the first meeting (to do with my job at the time) and hoping he didn’t remember when I met him the second time. Lol.

RIP Sir Sean Connery, my first big movie idol. A man of class and the best Bond ever. First saw him in Goldfinger which I got on VHS, was intrigued by that gold draped woman and Sean in his tux. However my fave Bond flick is From Russia with Love. He was also in other favorites like The Rock, The Hunt For Red October, Indy & the Last Crusade, Untouchables, Highlander.
