Feels great joy and great sadness to see my old boss. My first film I was fired as a PA and kinda fell in as his assistant. This is man who refused personal costumer, handler or a driver. He drove an Oldsmobile to work. My duties were simple ..drove him around in the golf cart, brought his chair, his lunch, pass his messages to the production etc. Talked about continuity and consistency... he ate Greek lunch 5 days a wk with watermelon juice. He treated me with decency and warmth. What an honor and glorious 5months
He gave me his character's Rolex as a wrap gift
    I miss you boss

Agreed. I am a straight male, but I can definitely see why women are attracted to him. I just love how cool and laid back he always seemed. The film he mentions on here "the hill" brings back a very fond memory for me. I was 17 in 1985 and staying at a friend's house while his parents were on holiday. There was a drinks cabinet and we got absolutely sozzled on some strong spirits, while watching the film "the hill" I loved the film, and like Sean's character in that film,I have never been what society would call a conformist,I do my own thing, which gets me into trouble occasionally, nothing too bad mind. I have never seen that film since then, but I recommend it to anyone that loves Sean. The whole cast are brilliant infact. I was so sad to hear of Sean's passing last year, but he had a good innings and I believe he enjoyed his life, and we can't ask for more than that.

Are you saved friend? If you died tonight will you go to heaven or hell? God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh to take away the sin of the world. He gave up his own life to save yours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for your redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him.
This is the Gospel which means the Good News.
      Isaiah 45:22-23 KJV
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. [23] I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
      John 1:1-3,14 KJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. [14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
      Isaiah 44:6 KJV
Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
      Revelation 1:17-18 KJV
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: [18] I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Connery was the one who set the bar for what 007 was supposed to be; even though others followed with sometimes excellent portrayals of a spy, Sean's characterization will always remain what everyone from that generation of movie viewers believe to be the 'true', somewhat larger than life spy. In reality, no person who had gained noteriety in the field could ever work undercover. But the movies were entertainment, and terrific his movies were, every one. And you can't say that about any other actor's Bond films.

This video is so much more precious now, seeing as I'm watching this just about 3 weeks after Sean Connery's death. I'm 17 and I've always loved the Bond films, ever since I was maybe 6 years old. The first one I ever watched was Dr. No, even though nowadays you wouldn't expect a kid to pay much attention to the older ones, just the action packed new ones (which I still love). My point is that even when I was a 6 year old, just 11 years ago, Connery's Bond films still captivated me even though some people might consider them outdated compared to what we see now with these new blockbusters. They were always amazing to me. Sleep easy, King👑

Lazenby portrays a youthful, exuberant and very physically capable 007 plus he demonstrates a range of emotions that accurately replicates Ian Fleming’s character as depicted in the novels.
