The only spider robot models I had was Star Wars related for Source Filmmaker. SCP 278 is actually based on a similar giant arachnid robot named La Princesse which was found on one of the buildings in Liverpool, and it was paraded downtown. When SCP-1508 was restrained by SCP personnel, it had realized that it had served its purpose in performing chores and would never need to do them again, so it voluntarily shut down. Its final good-bye message...Awwww...

I get SCP-1508. For his entire life, he was just working. When he was with the doctor he was forced to do chores. He was a slave. That is why helps with chores because that is all he knows to do. So, when he began cleaning his containment cell, he did so because most likely because he thought not doing so will land him in trouble as the doctor probably abused him when didn't work. When security personnel restrained SCP-1508, it made him realize that he doesn't have to work anymore. This realization made him happy. Don't know why he shutdown though

Gezz, the amount of detail that goes into these things are, quite honestly, staggering, and a number of these listed androids and golems have brought me to emotional response. I almost question whether the SCP files are genuine, or just a very elaborate science fiction. These gynoids are far more human than most humans I have met in my time in His garden.
Scp 1508's drawing really caused me to cry a bit almost as if someone who was there to help you out and you ended up liking and being attached to them had finally done all the business he had to do and then had to leave. It's kinda like that and seeing that that's how it neutralized itself made me sad 😢

Yay! My SCP (3014) is in this video!!!! This is crazy cool. Despite not having a picture in the orginal article the 3d model was pretty much exactly how I pictured it in my head while writing it. I know its not really that great of an SCP especially in comparsion to some of the others in this list, but it seems good enough for people here :)
You did a fantastic job on the description of the SCP. Though I was unsure just on how big the SCP is, whether it's depicted as the size I showed in the vid, or smaller because it was found in or near a communications box. But then i realised that the screen on its head displays what it says, so it would need to be slightly big, in order to read the text =)
Jeez, idk why, but 1508's story felt really sad-interesting, definitely, but sad too. It makes me wonder, too: would you ever consider doing a list of neutralized SCPs? That could be neat :D

i feel bad for scp 3014 and 1508, they seem so...human to me, the toy robot was more like a child slave, and i think when it finally gained it's freedom is when it, for lack of a better explanation, died....its so sad. and scp 3014 just wants to find its kin, its family, it's never done anything bad besides muck up some people's internet connections, it never hurt any one and never killed (as far as i know.) any body, and reading it's words only reinforces what im getting from it, and parents some sympathy to the poor bot.
i know, but still you can't help but feel sympathy for them, the spider bot just wants to find it's family, the toy wanted freedom, do not tell me when you look at their text you don't feel any compassion for them.
it is dangerous though since it is a eater of words, its stated that 10 percent of the time the data consumed is temporarily lost from the world with people presented with it unable to retain it till some time has passed. and if it gets really hungry and gorges that loss is permanent. So SCP 1370 is just Killgore from My Life as a Teenage Robot. A Silly little toy robot convinced it is powerful and threatening, and no one takes him seriously.
Why is always the nicer SCP's that usually have the saddest endings to them? That little toy robot just wanted to be helpful and ended up 'dying' or at least be nonfunctional.
From what i understood, it would help and be a "slave" because it thought it had to and when they restraint him he realised that not working wont leave to some bad consequences so it peacefully and happuly passed

-You mustn't let him escape,or MTF personnels will "be alert" and 10 of them spawn,each in a random place and if they spot you,they will shoot you
-When you open his chamber,he will start going towards the door,so,make sure to close it
-If he happens to escape,you need to "lure" him with a random item from your inventory (he can also be used as a rubbish bin for unwanted or useless items)

i feel bad for scp 3014 and 1508, they seem so...human to me, the toy robot was more like a child slave, and i think when it finally gained it's freedom is when it, for lack of a better explanation, died....its so sad.
and scp 3014 just wants to find its kin, its family, it's never done anything bad besides muck up some people's internet connections, it never hurt any one and never killed (as far as i know.) any body, and reading it's words only reinforces what im getting from it, and parents some sympathy to the poor bot.
it is never known if is gonna kill some one also ... who made it?

i know, but still you can't help but feel sympathy for them, the spider bot just wants to find it's family, the toy wanted freedom, do not tell me when you look at their text you don't feel any compassion for them.
it is dangerous though since it is a eater of words, its stated that 10 percent of the time the data consumed is temporarily lost from the world with people presented with it unable to retain it till some time has passed. and if it gets really hungry and gorges that loss is permanent. I feel bad for it it just wants to find its missing kin but it is still dangerous
