Brandon is one of the smartest guys in the world on this stuff. Thing about him is so good to the way he explains it u can follow him right alone no problem at all. When the right big big guy sees him at one these huge companies or a government agency looking for the guy to run AG dept. He could be that guy.
softwood and particularly, hardwood ashes are great sources of Potassium and some silicates and calcium.... but direct, top till application during plant growth can have very dramatic changes in your soil. ph... thus, adding ash to soils in the fall works for fixed, outdoor soil structures......... adding ashes to your early stage composts is a great way to use it, using time and composting cycles to buffer the ph changing effects.
Wollastonite is calcium silicate. There is no potassium in it. Its about 55% silica and 45% calcium. I been using wollastonite at bugbee's recommended dose for a few years now. It's very good at keeping the plants branches plyable when training. For potassium I have a bag of 0-0-20 langbeinite on hand. It's strong and highly soluble, so use it in small amounts.
@@fadedmass1662 Right, Wollastonite only supplies SI and CA. Do the plants really need extra P and K? Bugbee and other academics say no. “Bugbee isn't one to mix words, saying a 20-10-20 (nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium) fertilizer like Jacks or Peters is best for all stages of cannabis growth when combined with a drain-to-waste “
@@fadedmass1662 according to Dr Bugbee, the plants don’t need extra P or K if you’re using a 20-10-20 Other Scientists also say Bloom Booster are unnecessary and not beneficial.

Mr growit what's good with ya, what's the take on cannabis plants need more potas in ripening or finishing up
What about potassium hydroxide ? Any good. Sea weed from northern Atlantic . Thanks 🌱💚
Banana peels and potato peelings brewed in water as a tea
Soluble kelp extract
Isnt silica already in your nutrients in k so i was thinking why buy something like silica blast when its already in the NPK soluble potash..
Wollastonite cost a $1 a pound or less an 1gm per liter will supply PAS SI for 4 full mos, as per Dr Bugbee
