      😀 it's not found any and everywhere that's why he's probably not familiar with it, it's usually made on weekends or sold in bars as an appetizer when having drinks.

      @@sukie3065 you know what. If I didn't make these things myself I wouldn't eat them either. because there's no guyanese restaurants or food places here in Virginia so I'm glad I can satisfy my cravings in the kitchen.

    🥰this COW HEEL/FOOT snack. You should have left me 1 bowl 😂. You guys cook dishes similar to Trinis and this snack is big in Trinidad. Pigs’ feet is used a lot there but I prefer the cows feet. 🙏so much for sharing👩‍🍳. Wish I lived near you so we could share our dishes! 😊

      It's true guyana and Trinidad have similar foods and culture. Even though I never visited Trinidad I know I would feel right at home if and when I actually go there.

    I made the cow foot souce how do I keep it do put the unused potion in the fridge ?

    • @candythaglamcook
      @candythaglamcook  2 роки тому

      Yes you store it in the fridge and reheat it when you're ready to eat because the collagen from the cow foot will become solid, so you have to reheat for it to revert back to liquid.

    I’m assuming it rest refrigerated?

    • @candythaglamcook
      @candythaglamcook  2 роки тому

      You can let it rest outside since the meat is cooked. You put the leftovers in the fridge. It's better the next day.

    Looks good but definitely not what we call SOUCE in the Bahamas.. buts looks interesting

    • @candythaglamcook
      @candythaglamcook  Рік тому

      What's your version?

    • @Trent-moon
      @Trent-moon Рік тому

      @@candythaglamcook . We don't pickle the vegetables. The only seasoning comes from thyme, basil and cloves/allspice. Salt, goat pepper and fresh lime juice to finish. Serve with grits/rice or bread. Potatoes and carrots (optional)are boiled along with meat, cow feet, pig feet, chicken including the foot, turkey, sheep tounge, are the usually suspect. Whenever we add extra seasoning of the dry variety, garlic onion powder etc we called it boil, not SOUCE. Still trying your way tho Saturday God spare.
