Oh gosh..I love the sound of your voice...your ability to explain each step is amazing ...never mind the word slip..it just show you have a wide range of meal preparation. I love to cook and really appreciate a cooking man as well.. Be blessed for the new year ...looking forward to more videos by you!
I too have never seen it with sweet corn and was wondering about the cucumbers too as I always make with cucumbers but it looks really good. Wish I could eat some now
I wish I could be there to eat this delicious meal of cow foot souse...you had me smiling every time you said pig feet. Thanks for sharing your recipe,
Great job Chris, I never had it like that I'll have to try it your way one day bro. We usually cook the cows feet with all the ingredients except the corn, and add cucumber at the end.
I absolutely loved watching this video. I watched it three times. Bannah what kind of cup you using? Looks like a cup and a half of vinegar and 3 cups of water. All jokes aside, wonderful video and thanks for sharing. I made it and it was phenomenal. Now I don't have to wait until i go to Brooklyn, or Guyana to enjoy this comforting treat.
I enjoy watching u make this u and ur pig feet lol I love it I'm a vendor and I make this ever weekend in my shop and for special occasion orders too I'll try it ur way for my family to eat my mouth water running
Thank you for your comment Nightcool. What I made was not a soup , its is a Guyanese appetizer called "Souse" Its served at parties before you eat or the guys love it to accompany their liquor when drinking. I love Jamaican Goat Water , I have friends who make it very good. I hope you get a chance to try some souse. Thanks again.
Excellent recipe.

Quick way to cool the pressure down is to pick up the pot and place it under running cool water for less than a minute. Open slowly.

Looks good. Can you use pig feet too?
Yes you sure can.
Fresh is better than frozen but I made this and it was amazing 😍
I cant wait to fix this dish
❤❤
I had not seen souse made with vinegar until now.
Just curious WHT didn't you use the liquid that the cow feet was cooked in??
It would have added too much fat the the liquor I was preparing. If it were a soup I would have used it all.
Because it’s gross.
This is how my mom made it back in the day and I absolutely love it. Especially the tiny pieces of corn.
Yea man big man things
Never seen sweet corn in souse, my aunt's will be wondering what's going on😐
She would have all her rights to
Every country have their way of making stuff..I loved it with the vinegar ot have more of a tange...so u laughing just makes u weird
Yes this was the best
Real souse bosses use corn, yessss just how I like mine....
Thank you, that the way I like it, Awesome.
I'm about to eat my screen LoL 🤣 so I took out some pig feet and chicken feet for tomorrow 😌 thank you 😘
No cucumbers?
I almost forgot the cucumbers but I added it towards the end.
Guyanese are not pleased 😅
Pickled?😂 Vinegar does not belong in here
What do you use in your souse?
Lemons and limes are good but a balance has to be maintained with the vinegar
Sir not Jamaican we don't eat soup like this

I have seen or tasted corn in souse but I'm wondering what happened to the cucumber to cool down? The liquid is the way to go.
