No openers, it's 100% Band-Maid. As good as we have seen Band-Maid on video performing live, seeing them live and in the flesh surpasses all expectations. I was lucky enough to see them in San Diego. This song in particular sounds great live.
Band-Maid has never had an opening act in the US anyway. They have played this song at every show on this tour so far. Saiki and Miku’s vocals at the end of this song are just outstanding. Saw them in Dallas and Houston.
You won't be disappointed at the concert. I was at the Houston concert and really was worth the $130.00 I paid. They really are an impressive live group.
Their ability to cram so much AWESOMENESS, both musically and visually, into such a short amount of time is AMAZING!! I saw them at Aftershock and in SF, both INCREDIBLE shows!! Thanks guys!🤘🤩🤘
This song is on their new CD Unleash - The opening song " from now on " is a killer instrumental and " Unleash " is a prerry good song as well =) I am in Maryland already , hope to see y'all ✌🤘🎀
Location is a decommissioned granite quarry in the Ishikiri Mountains, Ibaraki from 1909 era that produced the "Inada" stone or "white lady" stone because of its white luster, strong and durable, like Band Maid, Po! Also, Japanese origin - "Honcho-dori" was the "Main Street" in Yokohama (same area Band Maid had their 2021 Christmas concert). Story say the American sailors, during the late 1800, were directed to follow this road back to the ship. Therefore, "easy street" to get back to the ship after liberty. Most likely pronounced by the sailors as "Hunky Dory." Btw, check out the lyrics, its on point about the influencing culture, Po! Went to 5 shows West of the Mississippi, and they are the real deal. Now, it's time for you guys in the East, Po!
Thanks again from Japan 有難う 💛。 This MV was filmed at a famous and old stone quarry (Ishikiri-Sanmyaku) located in Ibaraki prefecture, north of Tokyo. Kanami, the lead guitarist, was very scared when she stood near the brink of the cliff but she could defy the fear once cameras started to capture her playing scene. [source : Gekirock News]. Saiki is singing "Hunky Dory" repeatedly. It sounds to me, an aged Japanese, a kind of word play or pun. This phrase is very close to Japanese expression "Honki (本気) Dori (or Tori 撮り)" that means 「本気」= serious, earnest, sincere" and 「撮り」= filming, recording, image capturing". This is cynically suitable 😄 to what influencers do, isn't it? In the rap part Saiki is also singing "Always that one-upping contest, chit-chat chit-chat". "Chit-chat" sounds like "chicchai ちっちゃい" in Japanese. That means "tiny, trivial, frivolous, worthless etc." Miku's lyrics includes a lot of word play and Miku admitted she did it on purpose in an interview [source : Spice Oct.7] "Influencer" was played on Sep.7 at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo in Band-Maid's pre-US concert as the 13th song and that was the premiere (live debut). Just so you know, I witnessed it at the venue ヽ(^o^)丿. And it was played in every show in their US tour it will be all through their on-going US tour.😍
Aw they cut the bit where Kanami shouts "Sai-chan look at me" & skateboards off of the cliff & into the lake whilst doing her signature 1080° Mincho Maid axe kick trick :)
@@Aaronacer That's very true. I did love tho in the making of vid when Kanami said "Hey, Hi there. I'm on a cliff it's very high" & waved down at the camera :)
Enjoy the show guys. From what I have seen on other reaction channels, they're not bringing an opening act out on this tour. Either way I am sure it'll be a killer show!! 🙂🤘
Band-Maid is doing one-band show, not opening for any band at this moment. Each live show is about 2 hours in length and all the live footage I've checked out so far sounded so amazing and powerful. When they go back to Japan, they will support GnR on 6th November. Band-Maid has so many loyal, hard-core fans who are willing to support them in any way possible.
I was in San Diego with Yang and a full house of Madiacs and yeah it was freaking awesome i was right in front of Kanami right at the rail on her solos i was no more than 5 ft away from her
"Hunky Dory" means "Take a picture prettier than I am." in Japanese Miku says "chit-chat chit-chat" is in japanese"ちっちゃ". It means "He/She is petty-minded" "He/She is a person of small caliber"

Saw them in Phoenix. No opening act. They freaking rocked.

You will get to see this song live. It’s in their set list.
This on their new album. It is number 10 on ITunes .
There is a new instrumental called "from now on" and it is quite heavy.
There is a music clip on You Tube.
Please search for it.
makes me happy to see channels like yours that have covered BAND-MAID for many years now and actually getting to see them live at last!

Kanami is terrified of heights. If you notice she is pretty far away from the edge of the cliff in all of her shots.
@@Aaronacer That's very true. I did love tho in the making of vid when Kanami said "Hey, Hi there. I'm on a cliff it's very high" & waved down at the camera :)
@Gary Holloway The rest of the band were forced to jump on Miku when she shouted watch this pigeon fly po and started to run towards the edge.
It's good to see you got over the anxiety of Kanami and Misa so close to the edge on this video.
@@PurpleDracos Haha.😆 Yep then the Maids had to remind her that she can't even handle a flight of stairs without getting injured :)

They don't have anyone opening for them (one-man show as they call it in Japan) on any stops in the US. See you tomorrow!
There is a video of Band Maid and The Warning meeting at aftershock .
Saiki also breaks out a bit of a rap in Blooming.
See you in MD... I'm driving up from TN.
see you there! safe travels!
Band Maid rocks, get them here in Philly. Don’t know if you guys done Nemophilas songs, Adabana and Seize the fate yet.
I'll be there! saw you guys with The Warning in Richmond.

Nice Iced Earth shirt. I have one from the Wicked tour from years ago.
"Hunky Dory" means "Take a picture prettier than I am." in Japanese

MISA MISA MISA!!!!!
This song is about social media addiction and narcissism.
The Fall is here. Winter is coming
Band Maid has no and needs no opener, also they do no encores
Five minutes of talking about other stuff before the reaction is a record for me. Far too much. The like is for BM only.
Filmed at an abandoned stone quarry in Ibaraki Prefecture...I mean, why not at a quarry? I mean they are Hard ROCK!
