The album "Unseen World" is full of absolute bangers. Typical Band Maid - every song hits hard and fast. Every member has a song on the album which shows their chops. As another reactor constantly says "just Band Maid doing Band Maid things".
I started playing in rock/punk bands in the 80's. If only I had the drive and determination then, that these ladies have now. BAND-MAID embodies those DIY values in a way I haven't seen since then.
Is there 'life after' Band-Maid? Maybe. But it won't be the same. And I'd miss my aching 7 year smile. Miku's "after life" came once she quit the maid cafe thing and started Band-Maid. Thank you Miku! And thank you Gentlemen, for bringing Band-Maid to your great viewers!

There's another guy up north in the state who does reactions who loves Band Maid too. Don't forget that even though there aren't more MVs for the album the songs are out there fo just listening.
Congrats on 5000! I'd have to say Manners is my favorite of the new album. Hopefully, you can do their latest from the livestream "About Us" without running into copyright issues.

If I was stranded on a uninhabited island and could only listen to one of them until I got rescued or forever, I would probably choose Manners because of the cool groove with each member having a chance to shine maybe more so than the others. Ok guys next is ( About Us) a powerful emotional song written by Miku to all the Band Maidiacs. Their are others that can comment more about the song than me. But I can say that it is a very emotional song to their Maidiac Fans. Do the live. CC MV.
Interesting reading the comments about the video. We all know the music will be first class as it is with 'After Life' but not so sure about Band Maid videos in general. For me, they can be hit or miss but not really bad. Always like their live shows with a preference for the earlier ones. Thank you for your reaction and continuous promotion of Band Maid.
From another reactor "I will try to explain how I interpret this MV. MV is not connected with the lyrics of the song, it is a special story. This is actually the story of the band in the last 11 months. When I first watched the video I was happy for the fun video and the great rock song. However, when I read some comments and looked carefully only at the video, I became worried and a little sad. The video begins with a maid in a completely empty cafe (MIKU, founder of the band, red bowtie). Due to the COVID situation, the cafe is closed and there are no guests (no concerts and live performances) and the maid goes to the locker room frustrated. There is already an unemployed maid who is bored (not Saiki, but Kanami with a purple bowtie). A third maid (yellow banana bowtie, Akane) is coming soon. They are all angry and frustrated, joined by a cleaning lady (Misa) and a manager (Saiki). Suddenly, the situation changed, everyone was well and happy to dance together (The situation is improving as the band releases a new album, MV, and plans a Nippon Budokan concert) and take pictures with lovely smiles (The band is optimistic and open to the media). That's how MV ends. The girls appear in the order in which they joined the band. Here are some additional reasons why this is so: 1) Miku appears first and that is clear to everyone. 2) Costumes similar to maids in maid cafes are worn by Miku, Kanami and Akane, so there is no chance that Saiki is dressed in that costume. Kanami sits and looks at Saiki on the phone, which she adores and that is why she wears a bow tie in her colors. 3) The third maid is next to the chair all the time (only the drummer Akane has a chair). 4) Only Misha can be a cleaner. 5) The band has not been functioning on the principle of a band leader for a long time, but Miku emphasized in recent interviews that Saiki has the last word in decisions. That's why Saiki is the manager. What worries me is that MV was recorded before the cancellation of the scheduled Nippon Budokan concert and that the girls will become as frustrated again as at the beginning of the video. Band Maid needs the support and help of fans more than ever."
