You were in a bunch of locations in this video, Jaw Tooth! Thank you for documenting the trains that appear in tis video. I enjoyed watching this video. Please keep yourself safe out there since some of the places where you view trains are not always in pleasant areas of cities. (Post 25 October 2024 at 215 CDT.)

NYS 25A on the border of Port Jefferson, New York has a 4 track crossing with the Port Jefferson Branch of the Long Island Rail Road. It is considered to be one of the most dangerous crossings on Long Island.
Nice catch on the one-engine wonder :) I see you nailed it - the loose rail joint making noise as the cars pass - and some flange squeal at the end as well :)
I woke up to see my favorite NS train.Awesome 😊 Good Morning Mr JT!😊 I enjoy those double stack trains this morning. Thomas playing with toys so adorable. Love your pets. Makes me smile. Thanks so much. Made my day! God bless!❤😊
Hey jaw tooth awesome trains. Stay safe when filming some locations. Don't want nothing to hurt you. Pray that you safe when on road also. Have a great railroad day. 🚂🙋♀️
Trying to remember the last time I saw a high hood on a class A mainline…can't. That Kroger's is a happening place. That girl is selling "stuff" out of a gas can in the parking lot. I just shake my head. That last train from February was FLYING. It was a special because track speed there is 40mph.
Wow some history there at krogers..oh gosh armed guards inside..sheesh..nice angle shots of the trains👍 the live action pets was to funny!🤣 tomcat was to cute! And very smart! ..he even played ole McDonald had a farm😂..great video..maybe send to afv..🚂🚂💨🛤have a safe blessed weekend🌞🚂🐈🐶🐎
Thanks for great videos. Interesting to see high hood on a class 1 rail road. Enjoy the urban industrial landscapes though appreciate not the easiest places to film.
NS 5194 at 1:43 is one of the 102 EMD GP38-2 that hasn't been rebuilt with a new cab and short low hood. Notice the orange light on top. Remote control for switching. Since the operator is controlling remotely, doesn't matter how tall the hood is.
NS High Hood was pretty awesome. TY. Mercy, you stay safe out there. TY for the Feb, video. Tom playing with the toys cool stuff. Love your videos. Nice ending wave.
The strobes on the high hood locomotive, most assuredly a GP38-2, indicate that the locomotive, classed as a road switcher, is remote controlled, meaning the engineer can be on the ground outside the locomotive or on any car behind the locomotive and doesn’t need to be in the cab for switching.
You'll laugh at this, but I'm currently watching you while watching a train camera that's in Iowa. Lol phone versus TV. Lol it's been cool and rainy so I'm indoors for now. I still don't get out much unfortunately, but gone up with 62 subscribers. Hoping for 100 by the end of the year at least.
Plenty of trains to close out the week. It was great to watch the trains shift tracks going under the old B&O signals. Likewise where the 2 CSXT units have the sun setting behind the old Communications pole a nod to the past. As the NS train came into view @15:00 one notices that the nose of the unit is truly lacking horsepower. Apparently Earl Scheib did not have time to mask off for the balance of the emblem after repairs so this explains why it's only $29.95. Wisconsin has a unique distinction in that Kroger is the biggest grocery chain in the state yet there is not a single Kroger brand store in the state rather it's the 4 Chains they bought out. Only home delivery shows their name. Love Tomcat The Scholar
In your video's I never see any truck trailers being piggybacked. I used to pick up trailers all the time at a railyards when I drove a truck. Do you ever see any?
I'm running a bit late on catching your videos. The last CCE video was great . Moving lots of rock . What is the trackage rights east of Plumb Run. I know CCE 's lease ends there, but there is car storage to the east. Who's line is that
Past Plumb Run Norfolk Southern still owns about 5 miles of track. Then the remaining approximate 20 miles of track are owned by the state of Ohio. the track owned by the state will be lifted eventually
That's a good question. Unrelated, I didn't know there were railroad themed coffees out there. New Haven Railroad Coffee is one, RailRoast Coffee Co.. is another. And so on.
@@jameschristiansson3137 I sorry I worded that wrong. What I meant to say is do you take coffee with you when you go to film trains? Not railway themed coffee.
With the exception of the short approaches to the tracks, why can't they build roads/streets to the same elevation of the top of the track❓️ In other words, making road/street a more gradual slope (if necessary at all) to the track(s). This way, the actual approaches are less sloped to the track. Currently, the approaches are sloped and sometimes very sloped. Probably 98% of the time at a railroad crossing, the tracks were there BEFORE any streets were built.
I've always liked it when you go to Canal Ridge, it's a shame that it's in the neighborhood it is. You be extra careful there, at the very least they would want you to fork over your camera so that they could pawn it for drugs.☹️
