I didn’t like them when i first got them cuz i hate any clicks in my lever but after a week i got used to them and i love them probably my favorite clipper. I love the stylecraft rebel, was my number 1, but i may have to pick this one just because how quiet it is. The Rebel is LOUD! This clipper is so quiet and looks so clean. First clipper I’ve owned that my clients actually are always complimenting and ask about.

I've been using my Onyx for a few weeks now and I love them! I like the way the feel and I don't mind the shape at all. They're different and I like different. Just like you said in your review they are quiet, smooth, crispy/crunchy cutting, great battery life, and the blades don't get hot. Whether they hit 7500 rpm or made of plastic they definitely get the job done, but in a quiet precise Ninja style way. Yo JRL ya'll shouldv'e called them Ninja clippers. 🥷 ...👊😎

Great review on the JRL 2020C Onyx and fade tutorial Sean. Which clippers do you recommend for the loudest/most obvious crunch sound when cutting hair? I currently use the Wahl Super Power CC Clipper (sold here in Australia) - I guess it's like a metal Senior with the Magic Clip stagger-tooth blade from factory. I find the crunch sound pretty good versus my X-Ergo, but am wondering if there are better clippers out there for this.

I’ve been undecided clipper wise and keep going back and forth on stuff…looking at these vs the tpob xo clippers there’s around £60 difference between the two , the problem is is at £180 for the jrl you can then start looking at other high end clippers in the same bracket price wise🤪🤪🤪

I do one side for video purposes. I can’t record and move the camera 100 times, then ya forget to move it and lose a clip. I also see working all the way around can cause people to lose track since they’re constantly looking away from one side while they do the other.
