boi I thought the W11 around spa with restrictions is already in the league of its own but the f2004 with slicks takes the phrase nurburingring lap time to a whole new level
it sounds great in theory but they'd have to redesign the aero around the v10 and it would be very heavy. after a few years of development it also runs the risk of being too fast for the drivers and they'd break their necks around high g corners. but its a really fun thing to think about how f1 engineers could in theory make cars significantly faster than what we have
NA V10 alone is waaay cheaper but doesn't need any additional components for power. Meaning today a V10 would pull close to 1000HP. Because it's much simpler and theres less moving parts, V10 F1 cars today would be more reliable AND we would have a lot more teams and manufacturers. I would guess atleast 14 teams competing. This gives younger drivers more possibilities. Now because theres no hybrid system or a turbo, it's a lot lighter. Car weight would probably be around 620-640kg. This alone greatly increases cornering speed Then I think we all want shorter cars, so around 4600mm length. Width and height of current cars is just fine. Rear wing height could be increased to modern height. I think it would also be better for it to be more similar to the 2004 chassis design but even a little more aero, the modern V10 would destroy everything else in terms of cornering speed due to weight. Remove TC also because they have slicks now so its not as unstable as with grooved tyres. It would be perfection
With renewable biofuels, the most damaging part of an F1 car is the rare metals found in the battery. Therefore, to be eco-friendly, the teams must return to the 3.0 V10 days. For the sake of the orcas. Or something.
Given the current condition of the "Schleife" and with regard to the technology of 2004 (and also today), the Ferrari would break in two halves at the latest in the Pflanzgarten-Area. 😉 Despite everything, a great lap. 👍

I suggest you run incredibly low aero setup like monza. It would be a lot more tricky but also very rewarding because of long straights and fast corners
Remember that this cars were heavier on purpose and they used strip tires. This ones with slicks, full carbon and more aero, would literally destroy everything we know about automotion.
Yes, they've been designed to use stripped tires, I'm not sure that the suspensions could bare slick tires at this pace for long because of the higher amount of force they would have to deal with, not to mention the gearbox or the clutch.
