the yokais design in the show were interesting. its basically how yokais would look like in modern era, although nowadays yokai design in shinkenger and nininger are just yokais

Super Sentai is an entire series. That's why most shows are basically self-contained seasons. Except for Sun Vulcan, which is a sequel season.
