After mulling through the Blu-Ray sets, I can confidently say that Ultraseven is the program that codifies the Ultra Series’ best creative elements, more so than Ultraman itself. On top of the slightly more mature storylines - not heavily kiddie friendly but not ploddingly dark - there’s also the quality of filmmaking that helped it stand out over most tokusatsu during the Showa era, even TsuPro’s own programs during much of the 70s and 80s.
Holy hell I found a gem of a channel. I've watched couple of your videos already, it got me to watching kuuga and agito again. And now i want to watch Ultra Seven. Goddamn your videos are great! Keep it up man!
