Great Job Meaty Petey !!! Very emotional to watch ..... Iam the proud wife of a YPD Police Officer (retired) and the proud stepmother of an active YPD officer who proudly wears his dads shield ! I sat here watching this video which was posted on FB by Lt. Ray Stabile of the TPD (where I worked for a longgggg time ) and a sea of blue is an understatement. Beautiful !!!!!
Thanks for posting the video I am a Motor Officer out of NJ who also rode in this funeral. It is so different watching on video from when you are riding in it. I have never seen so many brothers and sisters in blue before it was beautiful to see. Thanks again and as always stay safe!
This video is amazing!!!...I can't tell you how many times I've watched it....And in every time, I still get teary eyed....Thank you for making it....(NYPD)
Wow! Thank you very much Andy. I have been very flattered by all the comments on here and none more then yours. I am very glad that people are so touched by the video. My goal was to create a fitting tribute for a fallen brother and comments such as your make me feel feel that I accomplished that.
Thankyou for sharing this video. Truly amazing . Ive seen too many of my brothers die in the line of duty. But the foundation of our brotherhood is unbreakable and stronger than ever. Proud to wear blue with my brethren.
You hear 10,000, 15,000 cops at a funeral like these, but even being there you cant grasp the enormity of how many there are. This video shows you what a pure sea of blue actually looks like. I will find out which one of my guys,( retired now 1 1/2 years Yonkers PD) ( my son now wears my shield) took this, and thank him for a job well done.
Meaty Petey, I've been retired from the 43 (Bronx) for going on about 4yrs now. Looking at this video told me that solidarity is not just only with the NYPD, but with all our brothers n sisters in blue all over the U.S. I really do miss my Blue Family n I wish everyone in law enforcement all over the U.S. to make sure they sign out every day at their End Of Tour n to have a Safe n Healthy career/RETIREMENT! GOD BLESS US ALL for doing a job that only a select few has the Stomach/Balls n the Class that we all have!
Thank you for sharing, and thank you for your sacrifices. May Officers Ramos and Liu rest in peace. God Bless all law enforcement, and thank you for keeping us safe.
Being a member of the Nypd, a resident of Yonkers, and watching this video makes me shed a tear everytime knowing how strong the blue line truly is. You guys have been one of our strongest brothers and supporters through the worst of times. Keep up the good work and i can't thank you enough. #bluelivesmatter
Very moving! In my 38 years behind a badge, these funerals never got any easier to experience. If anything it's only become more difficult, and the nightmares more vivid.
Absolutely great video and tribute to Det. Liu. The tears keep coming down my eyes. I can't hold them back. But he and Det. Ramos are in a better place up above looking down on us. R.I.P to my brothers in blue.
Thank you for this great video to who ever created it. Ive watched it over and over and every single time i watched it my eyes get watery. Awesome Tribute.
Retired almost 2 decades now (NYPD) and it still hurts watching this tragic, yet, a beautiful video of tribute from all the Members Of Service there 'together'... Thanks for sharing..
Outstanding!!! Hold the line fellas, there is honor in dying on your feet rather than on your knees. Do not be trouble, for the moral arc of the universe is long, but it bends towards the justice as the rest of the America is now waking up. Elysium for the Brave...
My heart goes out to the two families that Detective Lou left, his family. wife cousins brothers father mother uncles and aunts. then his other family of blue, greatest family in the world NYPD...
It hard to watch and lesson to all the fallen Officer's that gave there Live's for Peace and Safety for Us and hard it is now for there own safety doing there Job...take care my Brother's retired DPD #590
Hey first off I have to say incredible job with this video, I wanted to ask where you got the audio for Amazing Grace. The bagpipes in this are so beautifully bone chilling, it truly gets to me every time I hear them.
To all those who would denigrate the NYPD, take a good look at the number of people that lined that route and then take note of how insignificant you are.
Like it or not those who chose this profession and die doing it will be celebrated more so then others. Just as we celebrate dignitaries who pass and soldiers who die defending our country. Our men and women within Law enforcement who defend us here are allowed the honor of an Inpector's funeral. If you have a problem with police taking their own time to honor a brother officer you can just ignore it because it will not be changing. This is a strong Brotherhood and those envious of the honor given should've joined themselves.
Doctors and teachers do not risk their lives and get killed while protecting others. But if they did, you have my full permission to glorified them. Considering that 37,000 people are killed in the U.S. every year thru unnecessary procedures by doctors, I agree with you in not glorifying their death.
Why do they use those motorcycles for the police? It´s pretty obvious that any adventure bike would be more fitting for the police. Well i guess only in MURICA

Breath taking
This amazing but very hard to watch and listen especially when you hear the transmissions and know the outcome.
To all those who would denigrate the NYPD, take a good look at the number of people that lined that route and then take note of how insignificant you are.
Name of the song at the end of the video?
" The Funeral " by Band of Horses "
Can someone tell me what the name of the song is that is playing in the background. Thank you.
Ethan Gordon The Funeral by Band of Horses
WONGOSC15 GOD BLESS LAW ENFORCEMENT
this is sad .... rest in piece det liu 😔... somebody explaine to me why blue, which is blue is a code ??
It's a shame anyone has to fallen, but remember thery chose this job and shouldn't be glorified anymore than a doctor or teacher!
