I got four vacuums off the curbside recently. One was an older Eureka self propelled...a Hoover Convertible look a like. I tossed it into the scrap pile after finding out it was a scuzzy piece of shit with a broken bag tube thing. The other three cleaned up great and I didnt have to invest much with dollar store belts. But I am having a hard time selling them...usually $20 a pop for clean vacuums are quick sells. But not lately. These even have washable filters and are bagless...
All i can say is hang in there, and not give up. Sales have been a rollercoaster for me also. I have decent shit for sale thats in demand, but hardly any bites. I was helping my neighbors sell their jon boat, and the first week i posted it i got a shitload of emails. After reposting the following week the email activity just turned cold. I have a couple of nice roadbikes for sale that i thought would be gone already, but the activity is just cold on CL.
During the early days of Craigslist selling i was repairing/selling Bissell bagless vacuum's i trash picked from 20 to 30 dollars a pop depending on the model.
Recently i bought a used portable air conditioner for the main floor since i hated the idea of putting those heavy window AC's in the new plastic windows. Im going to sell the old window AC eventually, but im waiting for the next heatwave to sell it.
