    Thx so much for this. Please do more like this. Watching your workflow is very helpful. The pro tip that I learned was that you were placing hi pass filters on sounds DURING PRODUCTION! I always left this to the mix phase and - of course (now I know this) - end up with all kinds of masking and muddy productions that I have to wrestle with for hours to make them sound good. Thanks again! Please do more like this. The beat is hot, but I learned more from your workflow than I expected from this video.

    Whats up! that was dope for 10 mins. Im student at the moment and I know exactly what you was doing but what killed me is how fast you did it. I'm struggling to make beats in Logic. I know how to use it. But im still learning. dope man dope.

    I think it is cool... has potential
    Its amazing how you just jump from track to track and know exactly what you 'll use...
    I would be VERY nice to have a video from scratch to finish. Perhaps 2 videos, one from scratch and another one mixing and mastering... well done Sean

    This was fantastic! It would be great if there was a follow up showing how you arrange these into a full(er) track and automate volumes, pan, whatever else turns this from "8 tracks of 8 bars" to a full production song. You know...in 10 minutes. :)

    Light & sound separations:
    White light can be separated into different color lights by prism (science). Can a song be separated (mp3, AIFF, Wave) into each different instrument track and vocal track by the computer software (art)?

    • @SeanDivine
      @SeanDivine  6 років тому

      interesting question! there are ways to extract elements with certain plugins and software, although the results and quality can vary. I just did a video on a plugin called Regroover Pro that uses AI to extract individual layers from loops - ua-cam.com/video/8vFsKseO6dc/v-deo.html. I guess we'll see how all this progresses in the future :)

    I use impact lx49 and logic too. I tried to change to velocity curve but it doesn't help. I tried clicking on the notes by the mouse in logic and it still does that. It's like half a second after I hit the notes, the sound plays. Please Help !!!

    When I push the keyboards to make beats, the volume of beat sound is quite small, but when I put the keyboard pad to make beats, the volume of beat sound is more larger and abundant.. I want to know what is the matter to my keyboard.
    I only use the USB to connect the Keyboard and my macbook. Is this a problem of USB? or Should I buy MIDI Cable to solve this problem?!
    Help me plz,,

    Very new to this domain, but what is it the idea behind the concept wher he uses the kick or bass to trigger something? Is it like to lower the rest of the volume for when a specific sound happens? (I heard this is called ‘ducking’ in video/audio editing). What would be the name of that?

    • @SeanDivine

      Have you set the instrument to multi out? Then within the instrument assign each sound to its own out. There's a little + at the bottom of the instrument track in the mixer when it's a multiout, click that to add the output tracks if they're not auto created
