there are people who use cheatengine in that manner, and would save a chuck of time over the duration of a run, but I am always concern that using it more than I already do would lead to speed hack mistakes or messing with the flow of a run in general when playing live

UA-cam has an easy fastforward function, but it's a mistake since crow often fills the time talking about important techniques and game details.
