Thanks for sharing. I love school and office supplies. We like Expo dry erase markers too. For some things, we like Vis-a-Vis wet erase markers. I like Post It brand recycled sticky notes, because they stick the best. I like brand name scissors, Zebra brand regular ink metal pens with the soft grip, and Frixion erasable, colored pens for the kids. My teen likes colored Sharpies vs markers. I bought erasable markers for my youngest. The like the white pencil top erasers, but found it cheaper to replace the pencils vs using a cap eraser. I bought each child a different color of Ticonderoga pencils so they can tell them apart, and I know who left there's out.😊 My fave glue sticks are Scotch permanent Glue Sticks. They stick better. For notebooks, I'm done with the spirals. I paid $1.50 each or less on sale and stocked up for the ones with no spirals. They have perforations and are hole punched for a binder.
I love the Pentel HI Polymer white erasers. They are the best! My 3rd grade and up use Frixion erasable pens. I like the stick gel pens, they like the click pens. Honestly even my 1st grader can use them if they ask. These pens erase so well. They are more expensive of course but worth it to make writing more enjoyable for them. Scissors we get fiskars for littles. Otherwise, i agree with crayola products, the purple gluesticks, and Ticonderoga pencils 100%. 👍
Awesome I need to try those scissors they say they work for lefty’s too! Agree with crayola & Elmer’s & dry erase markers! Girl, Ticonderoga is my all time favorite I love the different colors they come in too especially for me the teacher! 😂 I only use Ticonderoga! I will have to try your sharpie suggestion but I still prefer pens with lids bc I’m always nervous they will leak in my purse or something so I usually stick with felt tips name brand! Costco has them on sale right now! But that Amazon price for my kids is unbeatable (I never want to share mine 😂)
I came for the scissors link...haha! Thanks for commenting about those "super cute notebooks", I've been debating on getting those or a regular sketch book. But last year I did use your suggestion of dividing the book in sections and that worked well. We finally finished a whole notebook...lol!
During back to school time I always buy spiral notebooks, just the 1 subject kind, they are always less than .50cents each. I just bought 4 at Walmart yesterday for .45 each so $1.80 for all 4. I normally buy around 6 to 8 for the entire year, but they didn't have all the colors out yet.
We love Crayola. My daughter goes through markers like crazy (she loves art and to color). Any time I see Crayola Markers on sale for 1.50 I buy at least 2 packs.
For younger ages yes I would get them each their own pack. My son (5) has his own pack and tray all his stuff goes in. My older two do share out of our school bins for the most part but there are multiple packs of supplies so no one is fighting over the same color 😂
You’re a saint for deinfluencing the fancy notebooks. The number of times I’ve had them in my cart 🤣
Someone has to 😬😂

Oooo trying the s-gels! The pilot g2’s smear and I don’t like it! Thanks 😊
I feel you on the scissors... they are like socks for sure 😂

My favorite pens are the Pilot G-2 pens ❤
Those used to be mine but I felt after a while the ink would start leaking out 😬
@@gatheredandgroundedhomeschool really?? I haven't had that happen yet, but good to know
Have you ever tried the hack where you duct tape the marker caps together?
I have not….what is that
@@gatheredandgroundedhomeschoolsome teachers duct tape the caps together and it’s supposed to prevent them from being lost
When you buy markers do get each child their pack or just one to share? I am homeschooling 3 this year 4, 6, and 8 😊
