Funny enough, the spinning feature is actually to compensate for lack of skill. It's not actually Vader's theme, it's the Empire's theme in general. It's just mostly played for Vader, so it's become "Vader's theme" in the mind of the general population.
His Fighting Form reminds me a lot of Form II and Form VI, a mixture of both, the ones Dooku and Maul used respectively. Quite obviously being trained to fight Jedi in 1-1 combat, form II is the best choice. Very elegant and playful, exhausting your enemies but also allowing the user to just injur the opponent, Form II. Very acrobatic and aggressive for multiple foes and the powerful strikes that need your enemy on guard constantly, physically challenging them, Form VI.
Honestly someone of his skill level should have seen that coming. And how good he is with Makashi is great. I’m just mad they killed off my favorite character.
I wonder why he suicided in the end, he feared Vader so much? I mean he Vader had like his family or some other leverage over him, but man if it was only his pride that was lame.
He feared Vader so much that he'd rather kill himself than even attempt to face his wrath. Vader in the comics was the one who trained up the Inquisitors, and he was the one who also sliced off their various limbs to teach them a lesson of loss, trying to push them to more offensive forms. I don't know about you but if I had a boss that'd cut off his students limbs without hesitation I would NOT want to see what'd he do to someone who failed him like the Grand Inquisitor did.
@@DrMostlySane hmmm maybe the fear of the torture could be a good motivation I guess. Still he could just run away and hide, not like a few stormtroopers could stop him.
@@MrFantocan Vader had just spent the last 20ish years successfully hunting down Jedi and killing them. The Grand Inquisitor knew, from experience, he couldn't escape. And funnily enough, in a recent comic, Vader actually managed to bring the Grand Inquisitors soul back and force him into (painful) service again. So, in the end, not even death was an escape.
Vader is so wrathful and frightening that death is preferable We all seen what he did rewarding Imperial officers for failure, imagine what he would have done to the Grand Inquisitor In fact when they first met, the Grand Inquisitor witnessed Vader maiming each and everyone of the other Inquisitors in training fights In the end Not even death allowed the Grand Inquisitor to escape Vader, as he revived his spirit to haunt a Jedi Temple for all eternity In fact the Inquisitor’s spirit met and dueled Luke, and Luke won, the Inquisitor asked Vader for release, instead Vader forced the Inquisitor to continue denying him rest The Inquisitor knew what Vader was capable of, and not even death allowed him to escape the Dark Lord’s wrath That’s why he commit suicide then
The force illusion was obviously one here's why: The Grand Inquisitor had so much honor that he would only use both of his lightsabers blades if 2 people were fighting him or if 1 had 2 lightsabers.
