Check Fireman's loop that disconnects to HV battery. When there is collision, firefighters are trained to cut them first. You may be able to charge the HV battery if they are disconnected. Im in the same loop. Bought a salvage 2013 85D and Tesla could not make the key because somehow techs came out but they couldn't get to MCU.
Should come together nicely once everything gets put into your name. With fenders, bumper, hood and support structures it will be well on its way. Great rebuild vid series!!

Once you get it opened a lot of the time there is an SD thumb drive in the glove box. And there could be a chance the recording of the accident will be on the SD card. A lot of the time when there’s an accident it’ll blow something called the Pyro fuse. And it’ll only run on the 12 V battery unless the contactor closes. But you’ll definitely need the key. It’s basically just a card so it could really be anywhere in the car, including under the seat. I also believe there is a manual way to inflate the suspension. Two good people to reach out to is rich from rich rebuilds or kyle from boostedboys. Kyle just did basically what your about to attempt to do.

Do you know if the pyro fuse is intact? Oh it's charging, nice! I guess that means it hasn't blown the safety fuse.
Check the pyro fuse and theres another battery thats 12 volt or 16 volt. It dont look like a normal battery tho
On screen settings Towing mode will get it on neutral to unload from trailer …
@@epic_warrior5627 yeah he didn't have the key yet so couldn't put it in tow mode. You have to apply voltage to the ebrake so it releases in this case
