This man is great story teller, for some of us that really conversant with the political activitiesin Nigeria, i can't stop watching, its like watching a novel you ve read about live on stage
Comrade Dan’s sharp mind is unmatched, flowing through history like a boundless river. He is filled with wisdom and knowledge, and his intellect is second to none.
Keep bringing Comrade Dan. These are the list of topics I want you to treat with comrade Dan. 1.Political office holders that got impeached in Nigeria. 2.Evolution of office of Nigeria first lady, their power and influence. 3.Godfatherism in Nigeria politics. Íréé ooooo
This man consistently voices my own views. In a past interview, he supported abolishing state government, a stance I've long held myself. In this interview, he’s spot-on, asserting that, of all Nigerian leaders, Abacha remains the best. This may not be a widely shared opinion, but it’s not about popularity.
This stateman is extremely experienced, well learned, well articulated, well-informed, well organised , and well explanatory. Please bring him back in a thousand times. We need him to lead Nigeria. He'll be one of the best. ❤
I know it's a daunting task, but it would engage a larger audience if these epic interviews could be translated in English. Cmr Dan is so brilliant and verse with precise facts and names in a rare unique way. Thank you Mr Deji. You are blessing to us.
I've been totally glued to this interview, and even rewind a couple of times. The man is a compelling interview. You can't be bored. I have watched all his interviews and learnt a lot. He has refreshed my memory of many events of the second republic with incredible details. Kudos to you Agbaletu. I would hope our big brother writes a book, he has too much knowledge that would be a disservice to history not to be documented.
Agbaletu this is the best interview you have granted please bring him back for more Nigeria affairs. The best historian with good memory knowledge and wisdom. I duff my Hat for him
I really like the comrade's analysis of past political events. Most of his points are always accurate and correct. I also enjoy his comedic way of interpretation of events. Kudos to him....
I so much love 💕 this man despites being my first time listening to him yet I watched his videos until the end thanks 🙏 so much, Agba please don’t hesitate to bring him other time
Agbaletu,i always viewed your interviews at night. Infact, Comrade Dan, is well versed in both pre and post independence political evolutions. He is a great orator per excellence.
Another amazing interview. This man is an encyclopedia, a great asset. I have one advice: Kindly tell him to store his knowledge in a book or books. Books have longer lifespan than videos and videos. If he is not given to writing, he can narrate his stories to someone who can help him transcribe them into books and they can be published. Thank me later.
@agbaletu You know I used to think this man cooks the story cause of the way he mentions names of old politicians.. But in this episode he mentioned a story.. Dinka's story in the UK.. The story was total truth.. The way he said it was how it was.. It was at the airport and the British were called by his neighbor from the embassy when he left. This man is a wealth of knowledge.. I pray God gives him long life and you too Agba.. God richly bless you
Idiagbon was born into the family of his father Hassan Dogo. who is of Fulani ancestry and mother Ayisatu Iyabeji Hassan Idiagbon on 14 September 1943 in Ilorin, Kwara State. He attended United Primary School, Ilorin from 1950 to 1952 and Okesuna Senior Primary School, Ilorin, 1953-57. He received his secondary education at the Nigeria Military School, Zaria between 1958 and 62.
Welcome Comrade, I'm happy you shared my sentiment about Zik, he was the pioneer of Igbo hatred for Yorubas. Zik will rather accept a ceremonial position of Governor General than accept Awo's offer of Prime Minister. His hatred for Yoruba motivated his working towards carving of MidWest out of Western Region.
This is a greater historic lnformation we are privilege to have in our life time that should be in our libraries and documented. Please bring this to the attention of southwest governors.
Ibi ti e ba ile aye de niyen……🤣 Agbaletu I love the way you said it. That’s the gospel truth. Won ba ile aye je. Now it’s grab and grab. No more consequence, conscience nor structure. It’s such a shame.
With due respect sir,,, Sheikh Adam Baba lagege He is not FULANI his YORUBA migrate to Ilorin from oyo Ile since 18 century I respect you for this Analysis I surely enjoy it
This man get better isoye, he remembers every dates, names, locations and situations of everybody, we should make him Agba Akin of Yoruba land generally
“Yinmu’ Rome wasn’t built a day. What America are enjoying today was built like 200 years ago . New York police budget alone is more than Nigeria budget a year. Our military boys messed up Nigeria because we didn’t save for the rain day. Corruption killed and still killing our country
KUDOS HE'S VERY GOOD I WAS A TEENAGER THOUGH, HE MADE FEW ERRORS WITH SOME OF HIS STORY BUT CONSIDERING HE WAS TALKING ABOUT HISTORY OF ALMOST 5 DECADES THE MAN IS SPOT ON. THIS WAS MY ARENA IN MY SECONDARY SCHOOL DAYS. BY THE TIME BABANGIDA TOOK OVER IN AUGUST 27 1985 THE LANTANG BOYS WERE KEY PLAYERS IN THE GOVERNMENT. BALI, DOGONYARO, SHAGAYA, USENI, AND FEW OTHERS. IT WAS A PALACE COUP THE THREE MAINS THAT OUTSTED IN THE BABANGIDA COUP WERE BUHARI, IDAGBBON AND INTERNAL MINISTER MAJ GENERAL MANGORO.
I bet that Comrade did not consider that it was a matter of constitutional provision that brought Goodluck Jonathan to power after the demise of President Yar'Adua. Would the North have agreed to spend just four years single term if and after President Goodluck Jonathan had agreed to leave office after completing the remaining period (on the joint ticket) of his boss?
I loved late Tunde Idiagbon so much but let everyone of us know that he had Fulani blood in him more than Yoruba. There is no way Idiagbon can be Yoruba and subjected Yoruba to such torture they all went through that time. Comrade was very right in some of what he said on that interview. Point of correction though: all the UPN Governors were sentenced because of the state money they used to finance the party (UPN). That was their major sin.
It was because, there was corruption the top Ologun, they were aiding drug trafficking and they were perambulating themselves at narcotics section ,a dept of FBI Alagba begging for the release of drugs suspects .They felt threatened that police was becoming powerful by begging junior police officers.Immediately he toppled govt,he caught their wings.Late Pa Adewusi, most honored I.G.
I love this man so much, full of knowledge, but @1:30:45, why blame America for everything happening in this world today? If not for America that sacrificed their men on the beach of Normandy during the world war. America put sanity back into this world, from crazy world dictators. My opinion sha.
YOU THAT INFO WRONG NOT AMERICA BUT THE RUSSIANS THAT DID 80% OF THE SECOND WW,THY CHASE THE GERMANS TO BERLIN DID YOU KNOW HOW MANY THOUSANDS OF KILOMETERS THAT WAS,STOP LISTENING TO CNN,BBC,FRANCE 24 AND WESTERN PRESS.
Good program as usual, but firstly Barkin zuwo was one of the worst governor's in Kaduna, as he was only there for 3 months and looted over 130m not 30 million, secondly we didn't owe the Paris club in the early 80s, as our currency was devalued in 85 via the structural adjustment panel. When I left for the UK in 1983 the exchange rate was £1 to 80 kobo.
Also Domkat Bali was highest ranked officer he was major general before Buhari and Babangida but the officers who planned the coup wanted Fulani man reason they chose Buhari
You're correct. It used to be Oyo State Road Safety Corp when Prof Soyinka was still in Unife and another man. Babangida only made it a national corp making Soyinka the chairman. No doubt Comrade is versed, but a few of his claims are in accurate!
Road safety was first created by wole soyika ,under Bola ige I oyo state then. They are not under federal government.Agba your Man made a mistake,u can find out from anybody, majority of Road safety are Payirare
As knowledgeable as the Comrade is, I disagree on the issues of American`s debt compared to Nigeria`s. The population are not the same and of course, America and the likes uses their debts for the masses benefits.
This man has great knowledge of foreign affairs especially Nigeria and western world.
This man is great story teller, for some of us that really conversant with the political activitiesin Nigeria, i can't stop watching, its like watching a novel you ve read about live on stage

Comrade is an excellent political historian. Agbaletu, I seriously enjoy this man. His interview is a classic .
Agbaa man, please keep bringing comrade Dan. He knows the history and able to tell it convincingly.
I know it's a daunting task, but it would engage a larger audience if these epic interviews could be translated in English. Cmr Dan is so brilliant and verse with precise facts and names in a rare unique way. Thank you Mr Deji. You are blessing to us.

This man should write a book on all this story please
As you can see, these are the reason why they stopped teaching of history in school, if you know you had already known.
Agbaletu this is the best interview you have granted please bring him back for more Nigeria affairs. The best historian with good memory knowledge and wisdom. I duff my Hat for him

Comrade Dan is an encyclopedia worthy of keeping 🎉

Adamu Attah, Prince of Okene ( now in Kogi State) : also an Igbira by tribe)
I Brigadier Sani Abacha. Abacha was a Brigadier as at 31st of December 1983 when announced the coup.

Point of correction though: all the UPN Governors were sentenced because of the state money they used to finance the party (UPN).
That was their major sin.
The Genesis of FRSC was the idea of Prof Wole Soyinka. When there was rampant accidents on Ife/ Road. Though the implementation was by IBB
Can there be continuation pls
Barkin Zuwo came out of Buhari prison before he died. It was either late 80s or early 90s when he died in his house at kano
Can you pls ask comrade to give us his own views about the crisis between Baba Akintola nd Baba Awolowo that leads to western crisis.

Umaru Dikko died in London in 2014
The man is not analytical but talking with sentiment. He muddle things up
Point of correction. It was not Heathrow airport. It was a stantetd airport .
It was heathrow
Go and google it. I watched the documentary on BBC. I am not here to argue. Before I make a comment publicly, I fact -proof it
Baba Olose is a walking encyclopedia
Sir I want. Ask question about Buhari 1983.when they are overthrow is it true buhari is in house arrest by that time Sir in 1983
Yes he was in house arrest in Benin
Great memories. The speaking genealogist of that generation
Another point of contention, you said Adam’s Atta is from Igala, he is an Igbira man from Okene in Kogi state.
...Iyara,,,
Tunde Idiagbon was a great man.
Ágbá Man. Gbógbó Ọ̀mọ́ ti wọ́ñ bi sì Áiyé ni 70's bá idẹ́rùñ ni Nigeria 🇳🇬 ñá. Kó rújú rárá. Ẹ̀bi yi wá lọ́wọ́ gbógbó wá.
Also Domkat Bali was highest ranked officer he was major general before Buhari and Babangida but the officers who planned the coup wanted Fulani man reason they chose Buhari
You are wrong Abacha was Braigdier in 1983 and not major General
Abacha was a 1star general in 1983
Correct. Infact General Bali was the most senior officer in 83 and senior to Buhari, Babangida and vatsa & co
Babangida ko la da Road Safety sile. Road Safety ti wa la ti aye Jemibewon. Laarin Soyinka ati Major Salau ni a ti ri ibere Road Safety.
Abacha was a brigadier general, sir, not major general in 1983 dat was his rank, a do respect ur knowledge sir
PLEASE ASK THE MAN WHO HE CAN REFER 2 ASK AROLE AWOLOWO IN YORUBA NOW
Comrade, I thought Buhari was the person that scuttled Jakande's Metroline project, not Shagari.
Hello sir, the history must had major General Bako
Bako was a Brigadier then
You are very wrong Michael Asaju kin somo Ilorin oo but from Iyara in ijumu LGA of kogi state
Kwara and kogi state were together before the creation of new states in Nigeria.....the man was right
Thanks for the correction!
@@olaitanracheal4627No sir, state is different from town,Ilorin isn't iyara ,ijumu LG,then in old kwara state now Kogi state .
The abject performance of Buhari as a civilian head of state is because of the absence of Idiagbon
❤
Muritala official car was Mercedes
Point of correction: Al lory ilorin yoruba man not Fulani
Abacha grand father migrate from Chad to trade in Kano.
I object to that,it was Buhari Idiagbon regime was the toughest
As knowledgeable as the Comrade is, I disagree on the issues of American`s debt compared to Nigeria`s. The population are not the same and of course, America and the likes uses their debts for the masses benefits.
Correction!!! US Debt is greater than $35 Trillion dollars.
