This bait just proved how talented of an artist you are. Most people would just paint the scale details, but you actually carved them and then rounded them for that small detail. Absolutely amazing!
It's nice to see some people making stuff by hand and taking pride in their work. That we are not just a society of consumers. Nice work love the channel.
The halos around the spots are correct, and look good!Especially noticeable on the head area, and alittle on the body area..It would painstakenly take me forever to get one painted though!😄Awesome work, and an awesome craft!!Your Longear Lure really looks awesome!I've had to really fight when painting those Longears!
I have watched all of your videos, it inspired me to start making lures of my own . I’m at college and don’t have many things but I go home and use every tool I have there. I have 3 lures now and people have offered me 100 bucks a piece for them. They ask me where I did it and how I’m so talented but I just tell them I mimic what you do on the UA-cam channel. Love the channel and love the baits. Thank you for inspiring me to find the thing that I love doing . I will be making baits for a long time to come. Thank you for that
Ty marling from the heart I really find it impressive how u can come up with this and how it goes from wood to that it’s just astonishing love u keep up the great work
That is one quality bait. Amazing work. I have to say that I enjoy the videos where you are chatting to the camera as you are working a little more. Still great video all the same. Very inspirational
Wow is all I can say man, very talented and you keep me wanting to watch more and more of your videos. I’m an avid fisherman and these lures you make look just like the ones you buy at the store. Awesome! Keep up the great work!!
@@jedidiahcyrus1758 this is probably one of the best working scams I've ever seen. You actually have a second bot that follows it around and replies like a real person.
That's a great way to control the angle of the cuts precisely @ 3:05, I've seen it done with hand drills to angle the drill bit but never with a saw. PS that band saw looks like it could use a new blade or some sharpening, it didn't cut through the wood it burned it's way through lol, hopefully your patreon can help fix that for you. YOU CARVED EVERY SINGLE LINE AND SCALE INTO THAT FISH?!?
The craftsmanship that went into this is beyond impressive . You make some really amazing baits !! In the 9 months since you made this has anyone made an offer on it ? I'm sure you could sell that for a lot .....I'm also sure you probably wouldn't ;) Keep up the fantastic work man !
gardening in the cold this morning, afternoon moving furniture to make room for a new second-hand couch to come here tomorrow... yep, checking my pulse... yes indeed, it is time to watch a Marling Baits video right away.
@marlingbaits idk if you have tried this, but I noticed you use mixed epoxy and filler to fill your lead holes. This has worked for me, however I have found plumbers putty to be much more efficient than that or woodfiller. It dries in like 20 minutes and is somewhat carveable. It's cheap too. Possibly something to play with
Absolutely outstanding work. I'll be honest, not one of my favorite videos as I appreciate your commentary. But this definitely showcases your talent and skill as a bait maker. I would love to own one of those but I fear I don't make enough money to afford one. Lol keep up the spectacular work.
In awe of your skills, talent and artistic ability!!!!! Beyond outstanding job!!!!! Me and mine wish you and yours all things great and good!!!!! Take care, be safe, all my best and God bless!!!!! Chuck Knight from Buffalo, Texas. 🤠🐩🖖✝️
Love what you do sir. I have never bought a hand made lure before but now you have me shopping around for something not sure yet what I want. But love your work you make beautiful lures. Keep it up
You gotta be careful leaving that bait hanging around with hooks on if I'm in town. I am a simple man. I see delicious, fresh looking rainbow trout laying there all alone I pop it in the owen.
I just recently started watching your videos. Started with the chipmunk and have been watching all the new ones as they come out. I had no idea you made big stuff. (i'm now watching your older videos). I'm a musky guy and this would be absolutely killer. After a few big fish it would be pretty roughed up but totally worth it!
Beautiful workmanship absolutely stunning, one thing i would have liked to see for the younger viewers and others is the use of some basic PPE. Some of the applications you used are not to be messed with or taken too lightly. I am aware from the quality of your work that you have been doing this for some time, however like i said the use of basic PPE for the people who are going to try this themselves.. Other than that this is outstanding. Cheers!
I'm from Jacksonville Florida me and my grandson watch your video and was amazed at how you put so much into detail into them LOVE your videos and your channel just subscribe and I'll try to start being a patreon
Omg bro I been obsessed with you’re vids lately so I know you should be in the top right now dude congrats amazing youtuber 🎉🎉🎉🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽hi from Mexico 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
That's awesome mad skills bro u should sell some to bass pro shop I bet people will buy them not just the lures but also ones for decorating house or garage man caves
Straight up craftmanship in every single lure you make
This bait just proved how talented of an artist you are. Most people would just paint the scale details, but you actually carved them and then rounded them for that small detail. Absolutely amazing!
I've been watching your channel for 4+ years now, and I don't remember watching this episode. Your technique has changed so much!
It's nice to see some people making stuff by hand and taking pride in their work. That we are not just a society of consumers. Nice work love the channel.
This piece is an absolute stunner. The detail in the wood, the paint. Insanity. Well done.
I love trout patterns especially those that look like they could go straight into the frying pan. You do beautiful work.
Absolutely incredible craftsmanship and video work. Not enough credit. Thank you for sharing your talent.
That thing looks so good, I would be afraid to use it with the probability of messing it up lol, very nice!
I'd be afraid of getting snagged. I'd take a swim for that one. XD
Thank you for sharing your work, you are an inspiration!
Heck of a job! You was the kid in school who always drew pictures and made neat stuff by hand but this is a work of art.
You sir have a very good taste in music
Amazing craftsmanship, one of the top lures I’ve seen you produce.
Man it’s good to go back and watch an old school marling baits video
True I like the ridiculously huge ones
The halos around the spots are correct, and look good!Especially noticeable on the head area, and alittle on the body area..It would painstakenly take me forever to get one painted though!😄Awesome work, and an awesome craft!!Your Longear Lure really looks awesome!I've had to really fight when painting those Longears!

Glad you started talking more in your videos either way its a good video but those fun facts and explanations are gold
The scale making part is absolutely insane! That thing is priceless 🤯
Ty marling from the heart I really find it impressive how u can come up with this and how it goes from wood to that it’s just astonishing love u keep up the great work
Man you've come a long way, like you actually talk to us now and explain things lol.
Dude, you are so good at building realistic baits.
WOW! What an amazing amount of detail and patience. I couldn't sit there and carve each scale on that fish lol. Amazing work!
Your dog is so cute. I was waiting for the swim test.
It's always amazed me how you can get such a real fish like movement out of a piece of wood
After watching multiple videos, your method seems to be the best approach. Going to try making one.
Very cool, thank you!
That is one quality bait. Amazing work. I have to say that I enjoy the videos where you are chatting to the camera as you are working a little more. Still great video all the same. Very inspirational

@@jedidiahcyrus1758 this is probably one of the best working scams I've ever seen. You actually have a second bot that follows it around and replies like a real person.
Love it! I like how you made the wood plank to make it place on the wall! Your work is way to beautiful to fish!
Thank you!

A real work of art. Love the attention to detail. You have great patience. Regards John from Ireland
I can’t believe how much work you put in just on the scales jesus
Yeah I lost track of how many hours went into this bait.
splendide, un artiste, chaîne que je suit depuis un bon moment, et à chaque réalisation c'est l'émerveillement.
bravo.
The only channels I watch on UA-cam or Edwin Sarkissian and your bait making channel. You do such great work and you have a cool ass attitude.
Incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail! God bless
Just love these videos man. Sucks you don’t talk in these videos yet but I still appreciate the quality of video and bait. Thank you sir!
It is soo wierd not seeing super glue and baking soda😅
The dedication with all those scales
The craftsmanship that went into this is beyond impressive . You make some really amazing baits !! In the 9 months since you made this has anyone made an offer on it ? I'm sure you could sell that for a lot .....I'm also sure you probably wouldn't ;) Keep up the fantastic work man !

Absolute genius working my way through your back catalogue of Vlogs this one blew my mind 🤯 tight lines 😁🎣
It is so pretty
Badass you are an artist I want 2 of them.
One for a wall hanger and one to go pike fishing.

gardening in the cold this morning, afternoon moving furniture to make room for a new second-hand couch to come here tomorrow... yep, checking my pulse... yes indeed, it is time to watch a Marling Baits video right away.
watched the thing twice... great craftsmanship!
I really appreciate the work on the scales. Good job man.

Love what you do sir. I have never bought a hand made lure before but now you have me shopping around for something not sure yet what I want. But love your work you make beautiful lures. Keep it up
It looks like a very good replaca of a trout mount.
You gotta be careful leaving that bait hanging around with hooks on if I'm in town. I am a simple man. I see delicious, fresh looking rainbow trout laying there all alone I pop it in the owen.
All of your baits are so so cool
I just recently started watching your videos. Started with the chipmunk and have been watching all the new ones as they come out. I had no idea you made big stuff. Unbelievable detail , Awesome talent , Beautiful piece of art.
Thank you!
I thought for sure this was going to be a master for a resin casting. Too bad. It's beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful! I've tried to carve trout and it's so difficult with limited experience
That's a beautiful bait man! Very nice work❤
Bro this bait looks better then the triple trout!
Way better looking than a roman ! Well done sir Well done indeed
This is a great video are you selling them if so I want one
Amazing, I wish i had half your craftsmanship
Beautiful workmanship absolutely stunning, one thing i would have liked to see for the younger viewers and others is the use of some basic PPE. Thank you very much! Is PPE like safty stuff?
LOL yup, you nailed it!
Beautiful Lure and Great Video
its beautiful. Swim test and few commentary would've been awesome.
Thats nothing short of amazing. Wish I could have one
So how fancy was it ?
would like to give an input , I myself won't sell it
You have got to be hands down the best person for baits I’ve ever seen. Like just wow. Keep at it man. Do you listen to a lot of bluegrass?
All I can say is WOW WOW and WOW 🤩
Man his attention to detail!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
He kinda seems like a serial killer in this video.
Man don’t know how you do it they always look so cool I wish I was as good as you
What wood did you use and which size of drill bit do you use for the screw eye holes?
I believe (not positive) he used poplar wood. (He often uses poplar) Not hard but buoyant.
I'm from Jacksonville Florida me and my grandson watch your video and was amazed at how you put so much into detail into them LOVE your videos and your channel just subscribe and I'll try to start being a patreon
Thanks for the reply your lures are awesome ❤
That’s a neat trick with the flush saw wedge I’m filing that away lol.
Has anyone ever told you that you look a little like young David Duchovny? Because now they have. Love your work dude
Could use some sold plastic to clean your dermal sand paper and the disk sander
@MarlonBaits plz do a video on making a big or normal sized spoon.
Note to self: burn wood with dull blade when cutting for added effect. Fish like the smell of charcoal.
I think Lauri Rapala would like your lures :) Dude, it's just amazing!
I hope you made a moldmaster for that the scale detail was awesome .
Didn’t mold this bait, it’s a one of a kind
maybe this is a strange question but 6:35 how do you know how much you have to cut the wood on the sides?
Omg bro I been obsessed with you’re vids lately so I know you should be in the top right now dude congrats amazing youtuber 🎉🎉🎉🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽hi from Mexico 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
u until have to skyzon and
You should make a plastic mold of these with imbedded hooks and mass produce them and sell them for musky anglers
Magnifique travail mon ami tu es le meilleur . Another video so quickly thank you .
That's awesome mad skills bro u should sell some to bass pro shop I bet people will buy them not just the lures but also ones for decorating house or garage man caves
mate you are an artist!
Verry nice! For the hooks look for mustad kvd treble hooks. You won't regret it.
I struggle with knowing how much belly weight to add and where. But now I see we have the same issues. Turned out great!
Thank you! I always add too much and have to drill it out. At least lead is soft enough to where it’s easy to do.
Try with a drop of super glue, test, remove weight, repeat. When you pleased with sink rate then make holes and push weights in.
This man is good at what he does awesome bait
That is one awesome lure work of art man
Parabéns pelo seu trabalho está isca artificial artesanal ficou muito bem feita 👏👏🐠
