I use the insight I got from Hugh Ross to many pupils from elementary and schools and from gymnasium and college, which is a very good tools to bring youngsters on the track of intelligent understand and acceptance and believing this interesting book as the Old testament is.

This is much better! A focused video is easier to share and engage with too. One small caveat though: some of the hosts are talking over the statements of the speakers in order to get to the next question. These conversations while staged should come across naturally. But this is a small thing when compared to the newer format. Thank you for listening to the community. The resources in the description are great too.

Great questioning by the host and the personable format is great IMHO. As always, amazing and in-depth discussion by the crew at RTB from a Biblical perspective.

They could in fact upload both a packaged show like 28:19 AND each segment as a separate upload. It may fragment the engagement but sometimes you want a specific resource or segment and not the whole thing. UA-cam offers a way to jump to a timestamp when sharing links but I don't think many people use it.

Great point about Scripture not contradicting Scripture. On that note, I would add that there are other New Testament passages that suggest that a day is longer than 24 hours.
Take for example 2 Peter 3:8 which says:
"But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day (NIV)."
So even if a day is to be taken as a literal thousand years, then at a minimum it would have taken 6000 years for the creation to have occurred, because as Dr. Ross noted, it is highly possible the 7th day hasn't ended.
Great work guys! Love your show!

Something very few acknowledge or discuss: the speed of light has never been measured outside our solar system. It's never been measured in deep intergalactic space where there is less gravity and less space dust to "slow down" light. Our solar system is a gravitational sink, plus the medium of space itself in our solar system is denser with space dust.

I appreciate this format! And I greatly appreciate Dr. Ross's breadth of knowledge. I had not heard before the explanation regarding Adam saying " at long last" when God gave him Eve. Dr. Ross points to the Hebrew hap-pa-'am as meaning "at long last." I went to the Hebrew version and it translates its meaning as "now" rather than " at long last." It listed 13 occurrences in OT for this word and each one had it translated as "now." What am I missing here?

The greatest confusion comes from equating (Adam, Eve, and Garden of Eden in Gen2) to (man & woman & earth of Gen1) these 2 accounts are completly different & try make as same is great confusion. Bible is but a love story of a jilted lover and the apple of his eye. Jesus is the Lamb slain from the foundation of this world... so when was this sinful world founded but upon the day of Adam & Eve disobedience for it was then that God discarded Adam and Eve fig leaves and gave them covering of animal skins.. of necessity was the shedding of the lambs blood and Christ was appointed as He who would give his life as seed of woman to redeem men from their sins
Jesus was clear and precise doubt no more. He drew a line into the sands of time by saying
Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
There were 4kYrs of sin prior to John and there remain 3k years from Jesus 3 day prophesy
John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
From Christ baptism & anointing unto the anointing dedication of Solomons temple was one God day of 1000yrs and from that dedication unto Adam's sin is yet another 3000yrs from OT chronology... but to equate Gen2 with Gen1 is a grave error leading to great confusion. The time between events of Gen2 and Gen1 is wholly unspecified by scripture

When you see a galaxy, you are looking at differing rates of time and differing measures of distance. Outside of a galaxy, there is very little matter mass and gravity to slow down time and shorten distance.
What slows down light *from our perspective* is the gravity in the vicinity that slows down the *rate* of time. (It’s not that light slows down, it’s the rate of time that slows down.)
So what happens where there is no gravity is that the rate of time speeds up relative to our rate of time so that starlight travels the same (or greater) distance at a faster rate of time. It’s still traveling the *same relativistic frame speed* but an entire second passes by from our perspective at a much faster rate, in a fraction of a second *where there is no gravity* to slow down time. So for most of the time, starlight is traveling through space at a faster rate of time relative to our rate of time.
That means starlight arrives much more instantaneously because the rate of time is free from the effects of gravity for most of the way. With no mass of its own, starlight arrives instantaneously as it experiences no time of its own traveling at the speed of light. We see things in slow motion *where time is slowed down* by gravity.
This relativistic effect allows for a young earth since it doesn’t take billions of lightyears for starlight to arrive through the *void* of space where there is no matter to slow down *time.*

What do you think of the idea that the days were 24 hour periods that God took a man back in time to show him the creation? In a similar way God took John forward in time to the "day of the Lord" at the other end of the Bible. There are many echoes of Genesis in Revelation.

Reasons to Believe ONE TRUE RELIGION
It is only logical that there would be one true religion. This is in harmony with the fact that the true God is a God, "not of disorder, but of peace." (1 Corinthians 14:33) The Bible says that actually there is only "one faith." (Ephesians 4:5) Who, then, are the ones who form the body of true worshipers today?
We do not hesitate to say that they are Jehovah's Witnesses.

      @@MadebyKourmoulis JESUS CHRIST--JEHOVAH'S FORMOST WITNESS
Even a Christian cannot brush aside the worship of Jehovah as God. In Revelation 1:5 the Son of God called himself Jesus Christ, "'The Faithful Witness.'" When on earth as a man he was a Jew, an Israelite, to whose nation the words of Isaiah 43:10 were written: "You are my witnesses,' is the utterance of Jehovah, 'even my servant whom I have chosen.'" Jesus demonstrated that he was a faithful and true witness of Jehovah God. His genuine disciples today must be the same kind of witnesses, Jehovah's.
