Excellent video!! You trimmed all of the fat and gave all of the pertinent information needed including the use of the shop drawer liner. I'm definitely subscribing.

For anyone looking, this is exactly the same process for a 2013-15 Malibu.

@@rednecktech82 completely understand. Was in the process of replacing my rear shock on my Malibu and couldn’t find anything. Looked at the part number and it listed the impala as well.
You helped me figure out how to get the mount off the shock, thought it was impossible before this video LOL

For some silly reason, I was thinking my impala had rear struts! Shocks will be much easier(I hope!) to replace! Great video! Thank you sir!

What parts did you get or would you recommend for front and rear. Both of these videos are great by the way. I'm about to do mine and these videos are a lot of help. Thank you

That's completely up to you. For trucks n 4x4's I personally like Bilstein. For everyday cars...nothing special, I go Monroe, cheap and reliable.

If you'll have the car for 10 or more years I would go with a lifetime guarantee part from a major chain store otherwise OEM will do just fine under normal driving conditions.

If everything tight I'd check exhaust system...loose heatshield, broken clamp etc...if no dice there then pull wheels n check brakes.
