♥♥♥♥
“I can’t think of any agent that would REFUSE them a job.” Genius Bennet.
Hey, that's my Uncle Art, still going strong!
I went to the high school, he taught at.
Craig Polson. How fantastic. What a wonderful memory for your family ❤️
Fantastic guys!!! I really enjoyed this segment!!! c”,)
It sure brings back great memories for your Uncle Art!!!
@@melissa1224jax Was he a music teacher by any chance?
Arlene Francis is so lovely! Worth watching just for her!
She's down right delectable. Martin Gabel was the luckiest man ever.
This episode got more belly-laughs out of me than most! (An animal that sometime has four legs which is no longer alive that can fit in the pocket of a man's suit...!!)
Now that was beautifully sung!
'You must both come from the same town' LOL John Daly is awesome!
That was fun and those two guys were cute.
I did that same job in Allegany State Park in 1978, 1979. There are hundreds of cabins and campsites there. Campers now must take care of their own garbage. The Bears would make a real mess of the cans left out by the end of the trails.
That is ADORABLE!!!!!
These are two cute guys...
They are adorable!!!!
Two very nice looking young men, and polite to boot.
Good old entertainment. Better Times.
LOVE these guys!
1955. Even the garbage men were handsome, charming and polite. And the goat ranchers looked like movie starlets.
That is the America that was great. Whatever we have gained since then, we have lost many times that. I was born far too late. I hate the nation as it is currently formulated.
The garbagemen are attractive because television doesn't like unattractive people. If you were to walk on the streets then you might see it different.
emment till died on this day beacuse of racizam
RIP Hal 💔
One of my favorite!
The panel never got close! They got stuck on the idea that "it" was something that could've once been alive.
they went off track as soon as they asked if it was a product and not a service
i just saw this on BUZZR..go Miss Francis flirting with the young men;)
awesome!
Thanks for this new one! Great!
darn good singers too.
from my hometown of Little Valley!
WOW, VERY COOL...........
I was born on August 28, 1955. It is so interesting to see what was on early TV. Perhaps these guys are still alive. It would be interesting to hear their story.
I did some research and yes they are still both alive and happy. They were both involved in school sports
Arlene looks great here. Nice hairstyle.
Watching on TV right now
so incredibly entertaining...
very good.
Wow! They can collect me anytime. Yes, call me trash! Haha
They are HOT. And that's no trash.
Garbage BOYS...LOL
CUTE GUYS!
Art goes to my gym
"What do you do?" Nice try, Dorothy.
REFUSE them a job... OH BENNETT!!!
He said he can't think of any agent who would refuse them a job, why did Bennett got booed at?
ell diavolo, Bennett was booed at like so many people are when they consider puns corny. I thought it was really clever. And he pronounced REF-use correctly as referring to garbage, but used in the context of meaning re-FUSE. Very clever to think up on the spur of the moment, I think. But I enjoy puns. I don’t understand why people think they’re not funny.
Sometimes...
If the garbage men in my neighborhood looked like these guys, I'd be up every morning at 5 am just to catch a glimpse of them!
It's absolutely misleading saying that there is a product involved. What they do is performing a service.
I was thinking the same thing. Are they implying that garbage is a product? One of the rare, or maybe the only one that I can remember, that was derailed by misinformation.
John only said they were "Salaried." The two garbage men said there was a product involved at 2:09
No. It's simply both.
When something is used, it does not cease becoming a product. There ARE products involved in the service they perform. I think Bennet started getting them all off track and, as usual, Dorothy righted the ship.
Yes, this really threw the panel off, with good reason. Thought (to be fair) John should have mentioned they primarily perform a service.
Does anyone know the name of the gentleman sitting next to Dorothy K? Don't recognize him.
His name is Fred Allen en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Allen
Lovely man......died of a heart attack walking in NYC in the mid 50's.
Is it alive? I'll kill you! This was too good!
But there was no product involved, which they said there was, they were garbage collectors, that's a service not a product.
damianop100, but you would have to agree that garbage is a product. Daly should have just said there is a product involved.
Garbage is full of products.
How wonderful. Must've been a treat having them on your route.
All I get is a bunch of angry hot sweaty immigrant man who can be heard twice a week singing the catchy song: 'fuck this shit....it's too fucking hot for this bullshit....." then they toss my pail somewhere back in the vicinity in which it originated. My neighbors yard would be considered a good pitch!
One of the few times that Bennett was funny.
As always, the audience ruins everything.
Watching this episode now on buzzr. What a difference time makes. When I was a little kid, I liked waving at the garbage men; one Christmas they knocked on our door to give me a present (lifesavers candy).
Now they're illegals or thugs that cuss you, and if they don't steal your trash can they mash it or throw it in the wrong yard.
How times have changed. Even when I was in college and living in my first apartment, I knew the garbage men by name. My building gave them a huge crate of fruit at Xmas. Now, I don't see the garbage man; a guy drives the truck down the street and robotic arms grab and dump the containers.
Racist much?
@@nibiyabi What was racist about that?
