Thank you Teddy! Shows with Martin on the panel are always my favourite. I admire him so much and think that he was a fantastic fourth panelist. Not only because of his banter with Arlene, but also because he was a genuinely good player in this game.
Several years ago in 1986 I was in New York City and was in the lobby of Trump Tower as I was sitting on a bench in the lobby. I seen an elderly couple walking through the lobby. Looking at these videos of What's My Line? I believe the elderly couple that I observed was Martin Gabel and Arlene Francis? I had no contact with them but I remember the Jacket that the old man was wearing it was a fur Jacket but was it him? I think that it was?
@@teddytodorova it may have been before he died; the man was very old; I am 52 now I was 15 when this happened. So absolutely it was several years ago actually it was quite a few decades ago. Peter Gabel just recently passed himself.
No, he wasn't a Steve Allen or Fred Allen, but I enjoyed Martin's more cerebral and serious approach to the game which kept it on point and more entertaining for me.

I always enjoy these excellent compilations, and Martin Gabel certainly merits his own. Thank you!
Martin Gabel would have made a fine role playing the Penguin, one of Batman’s arch-nemesis.
Thank you for these excellent clips, released on….Arlene’s birthday! She would have been 114 today.
Yes, I planned to do it for his birthday in June, but couldn't make it, so I thought now is good moment, too
Loved every minute of this!
Thank you very nice
Arlene F Martin G Peter G family RIP!❤️

I like how you refer to 1986 as "several years ago". Anyway, Unfortunately Martin passed away in 1986, after that Arlene's health declined
