For the first time since I’ve been a bears fan it finally feels like we have a plan and are moving in the right direction. Poles actually has plans for the future and not just doing it year by year like Pace.
I'm a Seahawks fan and I really have my eye on the Bears this season as a serious threat in that division. Your video was the most sensible analysis and least hype I've seen on them so far. Well done.
Two things not mention in this video that I think are important when evaluating the Bears organization. The finally have outside the family CEO in Kevin Warren and for the first time ever an assistant GM in Ian Cunningham. It’s a change from the top down.
Need an edge rusher. The only thing that may be overlooked, and the Bears may know this, is the development of Robinson and Gipson. But they need major improvement. The development of a three tech will definitely help with this. Lots of opportunities, but lots of question marks. This coaching staff is definitely being graded this year. Make or break. As a Bears fan it’s very strange but I’m optimistic! Ted Phillips being gone is a major factor in my change of heart😂
I agree with everything you said in this video except for your opinion about Getsy. Preparation and play calling were pretty questionable. I hope I'm wrong.
With two first round picks next year the Bears are an example of the rich getting richer. Who would ever say that about the Bears in such a short time. Ryan Poles is a football GM master.
It didn’t start this past off season though. It started as soon as Ryan Poles was hired after the 2021 season. I’m not gon let y’all call this an overnight change lol
The way I hope they use him most is as a blocker (which he's highly rated as) that Fields hands the ball off to instead of rushing himself if things go awry. I *hope that* Fields leaving receivers open downfield late in games is the end result of fatigue. Ever try to zip a football in accurately when tired? Yeah, just running is easier. If what I suggest _can be_ worked in, I hope it will be. I know there are still holes on the D, but aside from depth on the line (they're like chains, only as strong as its weakest link. It doesn't matter _which_ linesman a blitzer gets through, only *that* they do) this offense should be Unstoppable, above élite. D.J. Moore gets open deep. Regularly. If _either_ Mooney or Claypool start (or resume) getting open mid to deep with 2 TEs being capable of getting open mid to shallow, what defense can cover all that, Tyler Scott & the RBs _and_ Fields? I don't think people have realized yet that this team can run One Play-set All Season & win with it, just stacking those receivers like that & handing the ball off to The Best Pure Rusher in the draft if that doesn't work. They have almost _too much_ depth. Everywhere but that line. Oh, & for those who prefer simpler analysis, here's something no one has noticed: after the Falcons, what's the best rushing team in the NFL? Noticing stuff doesn't make me popular, but I like noticing it anyway. 😉 😘 😈
Guys, just imagine if the Panthers have the worst record this year. Da Bears will have the #1 overall pick again. We would be able to trade that pick for another star player and tons of draft picks again!
We’ve seen a lot of teams struggle with a rookie qb, like the jags with Lawrence as a rookie got the number one pick again. I think the panthers will be better than teams like the cardinals, but you never know now that they traded DJ they don’t really have a wr 1. If they do get the number 1 pick again though I think teams would pay more next year for Caleb Williams.
This is Poles 1st real off season, since he was handicapped last season, he had to dump all of the previous regimes bad contracts. 2 things worry me on offense and thats Whitehair moving to center, he was bad a center to begin with and thats why he was moved to guard, so get ready for Fields to be chasing snaps, and then Braxton Jones. He has to be better. He got alot of praise because he played well for a 5th round rookie, but if he was a 1st rounder, he'd be getting flamed for the way he was run over all year. Theres also Tevin Jinkins who might he out best lineman but also our most injury prone, i dont get why he was moved to guard. He was 2 bad penalties in his first start ever, then followed it up by locking down Rashan Gary, i thought he was gonna be our tackle of the future and still don't get why Poles changed that.
great info, but the scouting report on pickens is absolutely wrong. he is a penetrating 3T who might be one of the worst run defending 3T in the class when it comes to power. in outside zone blocks he is slippery but you can run at him al day. he’s a 3rd down 3T coming in for billings on long and third downs.
PJ Walker plays more like Fields than Trevor Siemian did, so that's a small upgrade. 3rd string QB is an issue (Nathan Peterman). Maybe Tyson Bagent can beat him out.
Ur a total homer but i do agree tyat the Bears and Lions are building for a championship caliber team unlike my Vikings. You guys just aren't there yet though so we'll probably still win the division. But in tye following years i think either you or tye Lions will be in a Superbowl cry😢😢
Good vid overall, but Chase Claypool is not a great receiver. He's an amazing physical specimen and has shown occasional flashes of greatness, but overall, he has been a disappointment thus far in his career.
Trade JF1 and tank for Caleb Williams. Bears aren’t beating the KCC next year anyways mine as well load up on more draft picks and a talented QB who can go toe to toe with mahomes in Williams.
for the 1st time in a long while i'm psyched for bears football this season.

Same can't wait
People say that every year though
@@pumapath2282 not bears fans we don't really have a reason to feel excited every year
@@pumapath2282 i haven't said it for over a decade. certainly not last season.

Thank you bro
Future is bright we are on the rise
Great video on my team! One thing about Johnson is he is a GREAT pass blocking RB which we didn’t have which will be great on passing downs.
Love the breakdown...great job!!
Thank you!
Impressive, concise and professional video presentation. Earned a sub.
Appreciate that
I know better than to trust the Bears 🐻. They’ve shattered my heart 💜 far too many times in the past 38 years.
Thanks to cody parkey who blew our only chance with a field goal what a sore fucking loser
Keep doing your thing, man! Great in depth content here
Thank you so much!
Tyler Scott will be a household name in Chicago soon! I liked his personal workouts in the offseason to get himself NFL ready!

As a bears fan I'm super excited about the bears for the first time in years
The Offense is stacked and more importantly it’s Justin’s second year with Getsy. I hope we ball out. 🐻⬇️

This whole bears team will be better
Can’t be much worse than 3 wins😂
NFC North is going to be tight with Bears and Lions on the rise, Jordan Loves first season and Vikings still a big threat!
