Reagan married his second wife on 1952. Yes, she was pregnant but they did not meet until after his divorce. Wyman initiated the divorce for the reason she stated. They appear to have been on good terms according to their son.

I don’t where you heard or read that but that is WAY off base, Jane Wyman and Regean separated in 1948, the divorce was finalized in 1949, he didn’t meet Nancy until 1951. She had no interest also in being a politician’s wife and seen his life was headed in that direction, instead of staying in the movies.
