The most elegant, cultured, and diplomatic first lady in USA ever. A great mother, a working woman, very private. She educated her children with no privileges rather than spending great summers in Martha’s Vineyards or The Kennedy’s properties along the beach. Practicing sports and enjoying in family.
She is a legendary woman. She gave the White House a different and charming look. She talks culture and diplomacy.

6:15 The guest list at Jackie's wedding was indeed impressive. However, wedding has not held in "the presence of the pope." I wonder where you dug up that info. Jackie married in 1953. The first pope to visit the US did not occur until 1965. As far as I know, no pope visiting the US has ever attended a wedding, especially one in Hyannis Port.

I'm 75, and my Mother went to school with Jackie and Lee. Older, she used to laughingly tell people she was the authentic Lee (her name as well) and there was a younger parvenu roaming the streets and to be cautious. Ha ! Quiet, lovely and intelligent, she had a wicked humor, Mother grudgingly admitted so and liked Jacqueline. The feeling was evidently mutual, we received Christmas cards and she was a guest at the wedding. She couldn't, however, pass up the opportunity to comment on her shoe size and occasionally commented, "you'll notice she never allows those gunboats she calls feet to be photographed:". Somehow, I knew Jackie would have laughed. Mom.

Jackie and Ari had an extensive monetary agreement. It was a mutual financial agreement.
Jackie was very savvy on how to turn all business deals into a beneficial investment in her financial future.

Aristotle Onassis bought Jacqueline Kennedy for his wife.
Ari was the richest man in the world at that time and to have Jacqueline as his beautiful trophy wife was an absolute treasure for Ari at that time.
His own yacht, before Jackie arrived, had 24kt gold plumbing fixtures, nothing had been built for Ari without the most exquisite materials.
Ari married Jackie for her sophistication and to be his trophy, they had an agreement not to have conjugal visits more than once a month.

  • @DaninVa-gt9nj

Very beautiful but the real Jackie will always be hidden from us. She had class and sophistication but she was certainly no regular American and probably looked down on regular Americans. She handled herself well in Dallas and afterward.
The Kennedy men were skirt chasers and were nothing like their public personas. I still look back at those years fondly, tho. America lost a lot when JFK was murdered. RFK would have been POTUS. A group of people did not want him in the oval office with all that power. Classless LBJ took over. A liar, a cheat, bad character etc. BUT a great actor as he fooled millions of people.
Trump's wife was most beautiful First Lady and future First Lady.
