This was Pierre's first night as a foster in our home. He was the most laid back foster we ever had. It was only a few days after his neuter & I think he still has some remaining hormones in his system! LOL - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
They are funny together! You've read their minds pretty well! They could be having that conversation for real! :) Dory's really playing hard to get, & Niko looked downright upset with Pierre. I don't Pierre for going crazy over sweet little Dory...who can help it? :)) Luckily, Niko need not go on to more drastic measures....

Thanks! You're right! Dogs can communicate whether they are German, French, Chinese, American... It does help when they've been socialized with other dogs & not taken away from the litter too early.

Early socialization is very important for puppies to learn to be dogs and how to interact with people.
I enjoy watching how they interact with one another, especially on their first night. Dory is usually happy & playful & Niko is busy throwing his little bit of weight around so he doesn't get bullied the rest of the time they are here with us. Oh, if only Homer could visit, he & Dory would do this same little dance about getting to know one another. :)
