"PRETTY" - ADOPTED / Schnauzer Love Rescue

Pretty wants everyone to get to admire her beauty from every angle. Watch her model & show her stuff in this video! (We actually think she was crated too much most of her life & this is the reason she turns in circles.)
Pretty is the perfect name for this 8 year young (Just turned 8 in Dec) female Schnauzer. She is being fostered in Macon, GA (middle GA). If you are interested in this little lady, just fill out an application and then after your interview you can contact her foster mom at [e-mail]
Pretty is spayed and HW negative, up to date on shots and has been tested and found to be worm free. She weighs 15lbs but needs to gain 3 or 4 more pounds. She rode in the car like a dream, and walks really well on leash. She seems well house trained and crate trained. She loves toys and has the cutest little wag you have ever seen. We have all her vet records, and she is very healthy but really needs a dental. She does bark on occasion but is not an overly obnoxious barker.
She was an only dog and it shows, as she has not had much socialization with other dogs. She would probably do best as an only dog, or in a home where her owners are willing to help her socialize with other more submissive dogs. She can be bit hyper and will run/walk in circles but it's slowed down as she's become more comfortable. She will likely always do this and always has, and the vet has seen this from the beginming. We will try a Thunder shirt on her later. She has had some obedience training and it's coming back as we work with her.
She has not met a stranger and loves people and attention. She was in a home with children before and had no issues. Both the vet and the groomer said she was and is a very well behaved young lady and didn't budge during her grooming/mat removal and check-up. Don't let her age fool you, she's still got lots of spunk and personality!
She was turned into the shelter a couple days before Christmas as her owners said they could not afford the cost to board her for the holiday's and with a new child in the home, couldn't take care of her any longer. Due to her somewhat nervous energy, being in the shelter made her very anxious and with the shelter full, she was in danger of being put to sleep.
She will make a great dog for someone. She's really sweet and it goes without saying that she's "Pretty!"

Pretty is frisky & very inquisitive. She is lovable & sweet, too. I think she's gained a pound in a week and a half, finally! She has several more to go but with her appetite it shouldn't be long to get her to a healthy weight. All she needs is love, attention & the security of a forever home to blossom. About the song...I thought it was cute, too, but not everyone loves a showtune! :)

She is pretty (haha!) frisky for an 8 yr old! And it seemed she played her circle game everywhere she went! :) Love those big bewitching eyes! Her cropped ears gave her an irresistible & inquisitive look. I could see those bony ribs showing though...I hope she'll be filled up soon, both in girth & heart!
I think it is a cute harmless little tune, nothing s&%# about it.
