Ikr?? I can't even taste mushrooms in dishes. But if I know it's in there I can't eat it. It didn't help that my parents started hiding mushrooms in my food, I eventually stopped eating the stuff they gave me when I saw mushrooms in the fridge or pantry until they stopped buying them😅😅😅
@@yammy72115 year old really don't stress out about it that much plus it's good for them to sneak in some greens every once in a while. My son doesn't know that sometimes instead of regular chicken nuggets he gets veggie chicken nuggets I make myself but he can't tell the difference and it helps him more than hurts him. If it was like, a spouse or anyone really sneaking something bad into your food that's different. But even then, as an adult the only thing someone might want to sneak into your food would be something negative wouldn't it be? I mean, why would you be mad if something had some spinach in it? Sure you might not like spinach but you can't taste it? The only thing I'm worried about is roofies and poison. But more roofies.

If i say please dont put any paprika im my food or something like that then i Experte you to dont do that. Always think "would i do the Things i do to my child also do to my Partner?" If yes, proceed. If no, overthink what you are doing. That is called "bedürfnisorientierte Erziehung" in german if you are interested. I dont know the english word for that xd

My mom literally did this when I was younger! She gave me a mango smoothie with spinach and said it was made with a special type of green mango that was super sweet.
I had nothing against eating veggies but I guess she was just worried I wouldn’t try it at all.

I liked eating my veggies when I was younger. I rid5 try spinach until I was in my teens. It’s not that bad when you put it in smoothies.
Dude spinach is delicious. as long as I can remember I liked spinach cooked though. my mom used to and still makes a dish with spinach ,rice and what ever type of soup she had on hand. That dish is so delicious with the aromatics and spices she put in it, we usually eat it with beef or chicken as the protein for the meal. I always look forward to the next time she made that dish and I also would ask her to make it if we had spinach available.
I was a huge fan of older cartoons like Popeye so my mom got me to eat foods like spinach by saying that I’d grow strong like Popeye.

I loved Popeye too! But when I tried to eat spinach I would just gag and everytime I got so mad because I couldn't eat them without gagging so I couldn't be strong like Popeye😭 still can't eat them to this day, I try them once in a while and everytime it still makes me gag

This reminds of conversation I had with my group of friends during college.
We just had chicken curry made by one of friend, then fast forward to finishing everything and then sitting n chit chatting.
One of my friend said that she finds it weird that some people marinate the chicken with yogurt and rest of spices before adding in the curry.
I had no reaction couz that's how it's done in my home i.e without marinating the chicken with yogurt.
But rest of members gasped , and then kept on saying that it's better to use yogurt for marinating.
That girl's sister was also in there who then mentioned how their mom always add yogurt.
