First of all nice flying. I’m looking for some advice. I would like to get into using the Avata for shooting inside for real estate and other business. But I wasn’t sure if it was possible using the motion 2, but after watching you I see that it’s possible. I’d rather not use the RC 2. So in your opinion do you think the Motion 2 is capability (as long as the pilot does) of being used for the precision flying needed in doors? And would using goggles 2 with tracking make it even more possible? I appreciate your time and input. Thanks
By far the best flying with the motion controller I have seen. Tbh if u hadn't mentioned u were using a motion controller I wouldn't have known. I'm picking up the avata in a couple weeks I hope I'll be able to operate it as well as u did.
I really appreciate it!. Yes the motion controller really can give you good control especially When combined with the head tracking. Let me know how you like it once you get it man!
Great flying! Do you scout the location and do practice runs to see what obstacles you may find, or do you just push through it the first time? I've not done FPV before, but the Avata is on my wish list!
Thanks a lot! Yeah I'll do a few higher altitude fly throughs and really slow low passes before I do a smooth flight without stopping. And you won't regret the Avata!
It sounds like your shutter speed may be off, where do you usually keep it? For nice smooth movement and motion blur your shutter speed should be DOUBLE whichever frame rate you're shooting in. For this video I was shooting at 4k 50fps & 1/100 shutter speed. Now I like to shoot 60fps and 1/120.
Ditto. I actually got my rc in the mail last week. Paired it, but it came bricked. Now I’m sending it back and waiting again. That’s some nice flying? so the moves are? The look gimmick and a left turn. Good stuff man.
Ahh mann you know I thought about it! hahaha. But then I was like what if I lose reception in the middle of the tunnel and have to crawl in there 🕷️lol
Brother what a beautiful place to fly 🤩 and that was a nice orbit you did at the end good job 🤝 I also have the Avata so far I really enjoye flying it. Keep up the good work 👍
That was some beautiful piloting! Congratulations. you got a real feel for the stick. Just rediscovered drones after being away for 20 so years, incredible where the Technologies come. As much as I want the Avata I think I'm going to save up my pennies and start off with a Mini 2, that seems to be a good one to learn on, what do you think, also if you don't mind my asking, did you get your drone pilot license? If so how long did it take you to get? Hope you keep posting, Cheers!
I really appreciate it! As far as the Avata, it's great for shots like this video, but for higher altitude cinematic footage the Mini 2 or new Mini 3 (non pro version which just released) would be a lot better for a beginner. I do have my part 107 certificate. It took me about 3 months to get it, I took the online course through the Pilot Institute. I was pretty busy with work while taking the classes so I think if you just focused on the course daily, you could knock it out in a month. Good luck and let us know which drone you end up going with!
@@---iv5gj Sure. You have to have head tracking on, then just look at whatever your subject is and make sure to keep your head tilted towards it as you use the flight path icon to steer around it. It's a lot easier if you're a little further from the subject so you have room to fly around it and so you don't get the frame of the drone in the shot because if you look directly down that's what you'll see.
Nice flying, but do you think you could have tried an orbit before the four minute mark?
I said it in the description but probably should have said in the title. Thanks for the feedback man
@@jonred233 Fair point. I missed that. Truly some great flying, though!

I've watched many but this is the most beautiful Avata video I watched
Cool video, Dji Avata is able to get through the wilderness, thanks for sharing

Very Nice flying.
Nice! Yes, it is possible!!! Cool flight prior to!!!!

Note though that headtracking is available only with goggles 2
Nice video,
What do you think is it possible to do such a move with the Rc?
Yes, you will be able to do much better with the RC. Much more control of the drone with the RC
Good to know you can orbit head tracking. Just got my DJI Avata and I am learning. Subscribed to you! WG7D
Glad to help. And prepare to be addicted to flying the Avata lol it's a blast!. Can't wait to check out your footage!
thank you for making this video.
You're welcome and thank you for watching!

Amazing!!
Thank you! Cheers!
What’s your sequence and export settings? My drone footage always looks so stuttery and choppy even filming in 4k30 or 4k60

Now THATS how you fly with the mc. Mesmerizing.
Hey, I really appreciate it! Trying to make due until I can actually get ahold of the FPV controller!

I wish you showed what was happening with the motion control in your hand while pulling that off, but thanks
I was hoping that maybe you would fly the pipe at 3:14, lol that would scare me too though. Nice flight!

@@jonred233 I love it very durable drone I have crashed a couple of times but is a strong drone
Pretty cool flying. Shows what the drone can do even without going into acro mode.
Hey sorry just seeing this! Yes I love the slow and steady cinewhoops!
Fantastic. Is this played back at normal speed or accelerated?
Thanks a lot! This was normal speed, no speed ramps or anything
Nice flying
Thanks a lot! I'm pretty new to the FPV world
Отличное профессиональный видео. Спасибо большое 🤗. Хотел узнать: вы самого начала в этом видео пользовались только смоушенем ? Не джойстиком ?🤔
Thanks a lot sir!

Smooth flying! Are you using head tracking to pull off the orbit?
I am, it was a lot more simple than I thought. Thanks for checking out the video!
is the video partially sped up?
No not at all, this is all real time using rocksteady
What if you hit a limb and it falls in the water?
That's the risk I was taking 😬. I did run this same route a few times so I knew where the hazards were though
yup
Where is the orbi5?
The orbit is at 4:04
Muito bom 👍 😎🇧🇷
Thank you!!
so where's the orbit?
It's at the end 4:04
