Talking about old FPS games getting transformed into racing games, there is a mod of Doom that is a racing game, but this isn't an old mod but a modern one that have more features planned for future updates

I still play this mod alot on old hardware. This is my favorite mod of all time. I remember waiting for it to come out in 1997. I play it on software mode and GL Quake mode on Voodoo 1 and Voodoo 2 cards on different computers.

In 1994 i saw some promo images from a game that was called "All Terrain Racing". It never realised :( Maybe this became Big Red Racing because the graphic style was so similar. Like in this Quake mod.

Old I know, but I think he meant how the vehicles drive - because in QR and in Halo the cars drive very similar. Doesn't mean they copied it, but they are two of the only games that actually have that type of driving controls.
