It's a minor thing, but whenever I see this video re-creation, I get annoyed that they gave Micky a tambourine with a drumhead, instead of the "headless" kind as in the original. Because I always get a kick out of the part where Micky starts goofing around and putting his hand through the tambourine.
This movie is terrible. It honestly looks like it was written by a die hard fan of the Monkees t.v. show but whoever wrote it didn't know certain details from behind the scenes. Also whoever wrote this movie did get some important points of the Monkees history wrong.
Trying to cram 5 plus years into 2 hours is not easy. Look at Bohemian Rhapsody, great movie with the real band members involved, but things were changed and condensed
Although I didn't care for the creative liberties taken by the movie, I think the actors did a pretty decent job capturing the Monkees' personalities. I do think Davy came off as an emtitled brat, and I'm not sure how fair or accurate that was.
Wonder why they didn't bother to match the clothes?
I've wondered that myself!
Aren't 3 of them Angels now?
@@FranSanTeeth90 well maybe some of them are still alive
@@megagamingteen Only Mickey Dolenz
Or Davy's haircut. He whacked his hair off in season 2 but I digress, LOL
Apesar da boa interpretação, ninguém supera os originais. São inimitaveis...
Despite How Good The Actors Playing The Band Were I Will Always Prefer The Monkees Version As Opposed To The Film Version
I think this film is excellent and these guys are really good

couldn't even get Davy's hair right?
Why do they have MIckey crawling between Peter legs?🦵
DJ - What numbers this
Monkees - 7a
DJ - ok man, don’t have a go at me I know I’m small
Yeah! I was waiting for that!
I like the original music video WAY BETTER than from the movie version, at least the clothes the real Monkees were wearing were way more colorful
I like the music video version better than the movie
