I put a thrush turbo muffler on a generator years ago.Couldn't even hear the exhaust after that mod.But the noise from the engine and generator head became very noticeable and it was still very loud.
That exhaust is a work of art man, a real masterpiece!👌 You should never question the mini bike expert. I wonder what he was doing with that pipe wrench though 🤔
Another awesome video👍🏻, as much as this is an exhaust video its just as much a carb/intake test to......this shows just how much of a restriction the factory carb and insulator are. Even when using a Vm22 with an absurd amount of exhaust restriction the Vm22 still managed to let the engine breath enough and run pretty decent. If this had a stock carb it would have been that much more of a dog. Vm22 is probably the biggest bang for the buck mod on these small engines.
I read somewhere that if you build an exhaust pipe with eight or more right-angle bends, the back pressure will be so great that you might as well have welded it shut! How about you test that theory for us next? 😁
How about “detuning” a juggernaut by adding weight (washers) to the rollers. It might increase the speed with a stock engine by allowing the cvt to shift into a higher range.

Or an Ebay special for a real Motorcycle, with the dB killer, without the dB killer and with the cap on the end of dB killer removed so it does 1/2 of what it's designed to. Actually, I would be interested to do that on My Motorcycle, But I haven't done anything more than collect the parts.

Added a go power sports muffler to my tillotson 212 and it seemed to pick up nice low to mid range power! Neighbors are happier too. Win win!

Possible mufflers alone will not lower the db any further. Intake will start to supercede the muffler db.

It was running lean with the open header. Mufflers richened it up and made it run better.
Those "emissions" things make a good amount of noise, I always cut them off and plug them

There is theory to back pressure relationship and increase in low end torque. More grunt off the line but the top end will suffer in comparison.
