For me the reason they're so good it's because they're not "pure" boring thrash like Exodus or something. They have a strong hardcore punk flavor, like Nuclear Assault and Anthrax.
"This place is Hell... This place is what we call WORLD in a WORLD! You'll fear this fucking WORLD in a WORLD! Guilty you'll rot!" This part of the song is just amazing!!

Definitely the world's greatest "THRASHING" band of all times!!! I figured out something. There's a missing line in the lyrics in the final part. The one starting with the "You resist and..." I have checked almost all lyrics websites. It's just mentioned in a couple of them. Probably it was not officially on the lyrics sheet and nobody has recognized it. Maybe it was done on purpose by the band but I think it's not an important sentence and it was just forgotten to be printed by the record company. I think it's something like this: "You resist and I'll have to beat you"
Ozgu Koyluc Yeah that line always sticks out to me but it isn't in any lyrics I've found at all. Might have to buy the CD to see if it's on the sleeve.
Machine Head’s Burn My Eyes album is their best, IMO. One of the pioneers of groove metal along with Pantera, Prong, White Zombie, and Exhorder. Both bands are awesome, IMO.
Sean Killian still had the same voice passing through the years, i’ve confirmed the last week at the concert they performed in Santiago. Thrash Metal from the Bay Area Baby 🔥🔥

@@Annihilation_0f_The_Wicked9066 Yep, great bands, but i agree with Kenny, Vio-Lence it is unique, those maniac vocals from Sean sounds very original, he's not growling like 90% of thrash bands, the riffs from Phil and Rob were just thrash at is finest, and then, the image they project and the charisma they have, just a bunch of bangers dudes having fun playing and not having a terror demonic satanist obscure metal gimmick, they are themselves

The vocalist has a unique, understated, almost narrative style in both voice as well as presentation. Horns!
Sean sounds like a maniac, and THIS fits Vio-Lence songs. They often write about crimes, criminals, and other happy and pink things like these.
The riff coming out of the solo. God, that one riff. Its brilliant.
