First time I smoked weed I was 12, started regularly smoking weed when I was 14 and then daily smoking at 15. I'm 23 now and I'm 5 days sober. Kinda tough to think about how it may have affected my brains development. I cant change the past, it is what it is. But I can take control of my future. Here's to finding the "high" in all of life's other bounties.

this is my 4th attempt at sobriety . Ive got up to 2 yrs 7 mos before I relapsed and now have 3 weeks again . I began smoking cigs and weed in 1975 at age 10, never got be a kid due to alot of abuse trauma and crazy. Just feel blessed to be alive. I struggle with isolation in covid and the fact that most of my friends and my partner died decades ago & the few I had left were so toxic and part of the old me I had to let them go . It's not easy but its worth it, if I can do it, anyone can. Learning how to live again at 58, looking around at my apt, my neighborhood, the people I I had in my life, where I work all made me realize the only way i could tolerate them all was to be high all the time. working on major changes and to accomplish the goals I set when I moved to NYC 35 yrs ago. thanks for your videos

Almost a month off weed and I feel all these benefits ! :) The biggest benefit I have felt in the last couple weeks is the quality of sleep and dreaming .. omg I feel like I'm dreaming for the first time in a decade and they are absolutely amazing! .. even if they are scary or bizarre sometimes its still mind blowing and I also find I need less sleep because the quality has increased so dramatically. Another favorite benefit is the 'follow through factor' that has increased productivity, I'm actually resuming tasks I started the day or days before.. I sometimes think weed was giving me ADD and I'm finding a great deal of focus returning.

Honestly wish I would have done this 10 years ago but no time like the present.. I rarely crave weed whatsoever when I smell it out in public its crazy to think that was totally my driving around all high and finding every excuse I could to be in a place to sneak a toke.. speaking of that being able to travel and fly different places and not have to worry about all the bs of hiding your stash and sneaking around is like phenomenal! I feel like a normal person again.. if you're thinking about quitting just go for it, if you can make it past the first week keep going and keep going more after that the benefits are unreal!

When I realize it's past 4:20 and I haven't even thought about weed, I know I'm doing good work on myself. It doesn't take too incredibly long before your brain moves on (with this one...) Writing, journaling, and exercise helps. Quitting weed isn't "easy" but compared to quitting most drugs, it's easyyyy peasy I gotta say. I will still crave it and dream about it but then realize how the positives outweigh the negatives. You can do this if you want to and know why, dear reader. Improved memory, energy, libido, learning, and much more await you on the other side: Good luck!

I'm 22 been smoking almost daily since I was 18-19 with a lot of t breaks though. Its tough man, but if you really want to do it, it's not impossible. I make beats and play sports so that's what I'd resort to even more when I'm sober and probably meditate. I can't meditate while smoking

What blew me away is that, what you shared and outlined was basically the exact same experience I had with pot, and quitting. Two things that really stood out was starting off with munchies, and then ending with no appetite (I started using it as an appetite suppressant because I was too lazy to eat). The other thing was how it started by alleviating anxiety, but how later it severely increased it from lack of purpose and fulfillment.
Great stuff! I appreciate this video and what you're helping people to do!

Im 2 weeks into quitting weed and i’m 12 days without vaping and it’s really hard because i’m surrounded by my friends that do them both regularly and I have been so tempted to just try it once and only do it socially as supposed to every single day but I also don’t want that to snowball into addiction again. Also I have had experience with cannabis induced psychosis multiple times and I’m afraid that might happen if i smoked weed again.

I have managed to quit cigarettes about 2 months ago after 2-3 years of smoking and now's the time for weed. This is my 4th day, I have been fantasizing a lot about quitting (also tried to do a few times before) but I never actually made the decision to do it. I'm also quitting alcohol with it, since it has also been a major problem for me for way too long now. That feeling in me that I could do a lot better than addiction finally won (had to go through a terrible acid trip, but at least it was extremely beneficial)
