Smoking weed and sometimes wax mostly weed everyday for 7 years. Been clean from weed for 23 days so almost a month. The depression is getting better and better each day. The clear vivid dreams are super intense I’m seeing people in my dreams that I have not seen since high school I graduated in 2016. My “new high” is staying active long walks with my dog, working (not super enjoyable though since I’m so deathly afraid of silica dust I do Tile setting) getting really into movies and video games which I already was when I was a total pothead but even more now I appreciate them more now! I know I’m not going to start feeling A LOT better until i hit 4-5 months clean though. I can just tell. Honestly been feeling very suicidal the past 30 days. I won’t do it though cuz im too much of a coward to take my own life but it would be so easy to get some Coke or oxy pills laced with fentanyl which is how my brother died. Hydrocodone pill laced with fentanyl. But I won’t put my family through that all over again. Been clean from cocaine and opiate pills for 4 years. I think about relapsing on opiates everyday. Even more than weed but opiate pills suck without weed with it.

Thank you for your videos! I am on day 26 of quitting weed, i was a heavy smoker for 15 years, and your channel has been a big support!
My life has changed dramatically after the first 2 weeks (heavy withdraw). Weed was creating anxiety in my life (not helping it like I thought it was). Once i quit smoking, the anxiety began to melt away. This lead to a dramatic increase in my self confidence and ability to communicate, and last week I began dating again, turns out girls love my non-smoker personality. I am now dating a wonderful girl, and look forward to the days ahead! Keep up your good work man, its helping people in big ways!!!

I quit vaping March 2023 and had been doing it for 11 years. I made a promise to myself that i would stop vaping by the time i was 30, i was turning 31 that year in August so i believe i made it. I think the only thing i feel like ive properly eliminated that had a major effect on my head was the health worries. I feel like my im less irritable as there was a large fixation/focus on where my vape/fix would be. Now im free from that dependance now and i remember watching your videos early days of that when i had the tough withdrawals. I dont regret vaping, it served a purpose in my most darkest of days but theres a point where it serves nothing to you other than an addiciton and thats what motivated me to stop.

Could you please make more videos on quitting porn. I have a serious problem with it, but I do not use nicotine, weed, alcohol, or energy drinks. I am getting a few days and then relapsing. Thank you for inspiring me to start quitting and to improve my life.

I'm currently not smoking pot and IF I do decide to quit permanently it's not going to be so that I can have more money or start abusing my Sobriety by turning that itself into an idol like smoking pot can be an idol to me I just don't want a bad cycle development with being hooked to pot to being hooked to money or success 🤔

70% of this video was you bragging about how successful you are which I don’t really find helpful. Apart from this I understood the message as: quitting itself is not enough to transform our lives but it frees up resources that we can then use to force some changes.

The message about freeing up resources to make changes is a huge one. I found this to be true when I quit alcohol. It wasn’t that it wasn’t enough. It was that I then could DO the things I had imagined and hoped to achieve. So much freed up. I’ve learned tons from the videos on this channel, freely given. Getting ready to work on cannabis. Be well, all.

ofc its not because if our lives was so amazing you would not get addicted to drugs but it was bad and it got worse with addiction so you need to get from the worse whole first the work back in your life

I think it also has to do with the fact that yes it is legal so of course they’re going to consume a lot of it and eventually it’s just going to get old like all addictions eventually do

There is no point in quitting, sobriety is overrated. It's not possible to abstain from all the vices. You can't quit forever, most people would either relapse or switch to a different habit. There is no point living a miserable life that only revolves around building a career or getting involved in a relationship. It makes more sense to focus on reducing your consumption rather than trying to abstain completely

@@123mustwashhands Yes I might change to a different habit, but that does not mean that I will be able to abstain from anything that is vice related. Of course you can do it. Anything is possible if you’re up for the challenge. I used to smoke 10 blunts a day easy. Letting go is the hardest part I think. The feeling of being “high” is something your brain dwells on. Your brain is addicted and your body has to adapt to not using it. Insomnia sucks, your appetite will be off for a week, and your lungs will start to heal. I can finally play basketball over 2 hours without getting gassed. The results are worth it bro.
