    Meat Pie recipe makes 12 Meat pies
    500g Flour
    250g Butter
    1 Egg
    1 tsp Baking Powder
    350g Minced Beef
    2 Irish potatoes
    2 Carrots
    1 large Onion
    Seasoning to taste
    Bouillon Cubes
    Salt
    Red Chilli Powder
    Curry
    Thyme
    Extra Egg for glazing
    Extra Flour for work surface
    *Sauté your onions, Add in your minced beef, break up with your spoon and fry until no longer pink
    *Season and continue to stir
    *Add in your diced carrots and potatoes, stir till well combined.
    *Add some water to cook the potatoes and carrots
    *Once almost ready, Add in your Flour Slurry (Flour + Water) to thicken filling.
    For the Dough:
    *Whisk together Flour and Baking Powder and combine with cold butter until it looks like breadcrumbs
    *Add in your Egg & Water a little at a time to form a dough (Be mindful not to overknead)
    *Allow the dough to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
    To make your Meat Pie:
    *Cut the dough into manageable portions (About 8)
    *Roll out on a floured surface and cut with a meat pie cutter or bowl
    *Spoon some filling unto the center of the dough, brush edges with egg wash and fold over.
    *Seal with a fork, transfer to a baking tray and generously coat the pie with egg wash.
    *Bake in a preheated 175 degree Celsius oven for 30 minutes.
