FOR PIE DOUGH:
500g of flour (4 cups flour)
Tsp baking powder
Tsp salt
230g butter
1 and 1/2 cup of cold water
Egg for egg wash
FOR FILLING:
Irish potatoes
Carrots
Sweet peppers
Spring onions
Onions
Garlic
Dried pepper
Thyme
Season(Bouillon)
Salt
Oil

Do I turn down my oven heat once it gets to the desired temp.and my dough is put in or I should I just bake along without reducing the heat?

Wheat is not an African grain. This is why it is wrong to claim that a meat pie is Nigerian of Jamaican. I would have said it was English, except that meat pies have been found in thousands of years old Egyptian burial sites

I used salted butter all the time, so I always skipped salt.
