- Thank you for checking out this makerspace upgrade video where I install an ambient light fixture! I have linked all the parts I used below so you can try it out if you want. I am not an expert at installing lights or even how to set up ambient lighting. I just wanted to have some cool lighting for my 3d printing makerspace! What upgrades have you done to your spaces?
Georges Gadgets I am building a workspace in my bedroom and it starts to look great :) And it would be cool if you could clone the prusa i3 mk2 :)

Nice video. I recall reading something from halogen bulb manufacturer's installation instructions that you should not touch bulbs with your bare hands. Something about the quartz glass and hotspots. So, its better to be safer anyway.

Looks cool. But now that you are back light when setting at your desk, you need a front fill light. The cycle never ends!

Hello sir! 1st, dope shirt, good taste in music. Don't worry too much about grounding incandescent lights, as long as the wires don't touch the metal frame, you are good. Also, isn't it funny that now "normal" light bulbs are becoming a fashion thing for decoration as everything is moving to LED because of well... efficiency. Hit me up about color grading, I can help you. You need to create yourself a LUT in Resolve so you can grade fast, that + the new match color setting in Premiere. Go watch yesterday video of Peter McKinnon, it will help you (assuming that you are using Premiere, are you?)

I know what you mean! I do like the look of incandescent bulbs but I think it’s just because I don’t see them often anymore lol
