  • Mist witch left the mist for a short while and got herself a new broom.
Embla robes and hood, Ask trousers. Elemental magic: around 50. More rational gear would be Embla robe and trousers + flametal helmet.

its weak, but it may be strong in the next biome whenever that releases, since all monsters will most likely be Ice.

i still dont understand this weapon. its worse single target than frost, worse aoe than fire, to my experimenting doesnt level elemental faster even tho it hits like 10 times in 1 cast, what is the secret if the description? “you have to be patient and focused for its full power”, wait til they change it to be more powerful?😂 i dont get it

Single target with frost works well, however it also eats through your eitr pool very fast. Also casting frost requires you to be almost stationary while casting. Not saying that this is a better weapon, just different.

@@lifeinvalheim i feel like i’m not communicating. if you don’t want to be standing almost stationary then use fire staff, it does the same for single target as fracturing but also has the potential for aoe. it’s not just different it’s worse. i’m saying this staff is objectively worse than every other staff and i’m confused why it exists, there’s no reason to have it in your inventory. it doesn’t even have a different damage type. like why is it in the game. it’s like if the flametal mace did the same damage as the porcupine and also did blunt/piercing type damage but only hits single targets. like please share the secret, if this is just ashlands content clickbait then fine but otherwise what am i missing?

@@shmootube5000 It actually does more single target damage than the staff of embers if you hit directly. Find some slow big target like a lox or a seeker soldier and test it: stack few direct hits and see what happens. Also, casting is cheaper which adds up especially if you want to play high health and no bubble. Also knocks back differently, which is also important if you want to play slow moving, heavier armoured mage not the run-spam type.

Considering most things in ashlands be resistant to fire it´s a bad showcase for the weapon. It got good burn damage especially if enemy is parried. Best way to try it is on a lox. The ice staff is definitely more reliable. *But yes, it is quite underwhelming* "Also it they patched it being able to turn wood into Coal."
