Extra sin on the burnt cake scene: The entire room was smoked up, but when the cake was brought out it wasn't smoking or even steaming. It looked like it had been sitting in the oven for only a little too long and more like a dark-chocolate cake than a burnt one.
Also that cake tin is EXTREMELY clean like they just bought it from the store, not something that had been used or even washed before.

8:35 He made a mistake there and added a sin where there shouldn’t have been. After Annabelle was released from her case, she awoke everything in the artifact room, including the haunted board game Feeley Meeley. Hence it placed ITSELF there in hopes of tormenting the girls. That’s why Judy says “I don’t remember that one” when Mary Ellen suggests they play it. So it got there because of Annabelle.

I know this movie has issues but I gotta admit that bride ghost walking around the house and showing up in the mirrors as the camera continues to pan around the room was horror gold. It might be one of the creepiest moments in the Conjuring franchise in my opinion simply because it hinted as how the ghost was getting closer and closer to actually being in the room and the asthetic of the scene was awesome. REMOVE A SIN. Although give that sin back because the rest of the movie couldn't live up to the creativity of that single scene

Anyone ever wonder why the studio couldn’t just use a regular Raggedy Ann doll which is where it got the name Annabelle from. Also why with all these stupid movies none of them explain how the demon got into it all they just skip it for some stupid reason.
Probably to prevent who ever owns the rights to Raggedy Ann and Andy from sueing. Maybe?
Creation did give an Origin for it. It started as a regular creepy doll made by a dollmaker. Dollmaker's daughter died and together with his distraught wife they were desperate for anything to fill the void in their lives. Then along comes a spirit claiming to be a sweet little girl who just wants to play with them. After buttering them up for a while it asked to move into the doll and their house. They agreed. Then it turned out it was a demon, so they had a priest seal it away. Then for bullshit reasons it managed to exercise a portion of its power to open a door that's normally locked and cause the events of Creation to happen and link in with the original Anabelle film. I can't remember exactly why the nun brought all the orhpans out to the middle of nowhere, but I think it was that their orphanage was closing and the Dollmaker and his wife sought to make amends for their dealings with an actual demon by offering the children a place to live. The Dollmaker and his wife unfortunately did not leave enough of an impression for me to remember their names. Same for pretty much the entire cast really, apart from the name attached to the evil doll.
