I respect this man and his knowledge but never disregard the role of praying for favor and opportunities. I’ve been reading books and engaging entrepreneurial skills but God landed me with Dollar making opportunities as an individual in Ghana and I even work less.
POV: 1. Invest in your spiritual life( pray and sow seeds at altars you believe in)
    2. Invest in personal education ( learn then you earn)
    3. Do try and error till what you’re doing works.
Remember that God is the highest form of leverage 🙏

Exactly my point. Life has always being spiritual. The fact could be that you had little or have little knowledge about the Pastoral aspect and didn't succeed.
Prayer works of course that doesn't mean anyone should be lazy and stupid.
People must pray and sow seeds regardless of anything you may believe the physical is controlled by the spiritual. Even the friends you said people should change, how many rich people would accept poor people if not by the favor of God.
And the Bible is filled and full of stories like that, and Jesus said we can ask for anything so just because those in Bible days didn't ask and we are, doesn't make it wrong or stupid.
Do more research about the scriptures you will see.
Of course I hope most of the youth will take the part that they are being fooled and lazy that they can only make money in AC...

Same here, I disagree with him, you can't make money without God. Even the people in the world make money by consulting other mediums. Even the knowledge to make wealth comes from God.
Since this man likes reading, he should also read the bible cover to cover if he's a true Christian. He will know better because in this life you either succeed with God, or other spirits.
      I have a lot to say but I can't type it 😅😂😂

I always get irritated when people make uninformed and stereotypical statements about us Africans. When my friends and I meet we don't talk about football or entertainment. Africans are quick to accept and feed on the negative image. Make your point without denigrating your people. In the UK thousands go to the stadium to watch football but few will pay many to attend bootcamp on financial literacy. So make your point without being condescending to your own people.

Bless up Man. Your guest is really endowed with knowledge. I did Civil Engineering at university and whilst in the university I found out that a lot of students need calculators and drawing instruments. I started selling them and now all the departments in the school engage with me for large number of calculators and drawings instruments.
This motivated me to set up my small architectural company where we produce building plans for people and provide supervision works. At the moment I have employed as Civil Engineer in a renowned Real Estate company.
I still run the business massively and this gives me a lot of cash.
I was financially inclined whilst in school and I’m financially independent at age 24 .
My advice for youth is that they should brainstorm to start a business whilst in school not after school.
All he said is very very true. Bless up Man.

40:40 Its not like they don't want what you are offering them Derrick.... Its their paradigm.. Change is hard, and uncomfortable its like taking out a decayed tooth, its painful to remove it and its also painful to leave it there.... but most people usually like to choose the pain they are already familiar with which is been ,broke, sick and miserable!! I believe the awakening time is here, with minds like yours, coach ekow, obeng darko, and other thinkers... the change will surely come!!! I am in my early thirties now, when i made a concious decision to have that phoenix transformation.... it was hell to burn and break off all the major part of 20+ years of domestication... i am still learning everyday to forge that mindset of a conquerer, so i think its our duty to preach the message. They will come around when change is the only option available!! stay blessed my brother!!

Our mind must be like a parachute. The latter opens up; if it does not, it isn’t any good. I am a Christian but the kind of Christianity we have been forced to embrace in our churches in Ghana makes it difficult for our parachutes to open. Finish school with no work, first depend on the government because they have forced us to depend on them and next depend on God for the job to come down from heaven. We attend church service throughout the week forgetting that the creator even worked and rested one day. The creator even reminds us to go to the ants 🐜 🐜 - Proverbs 6:6. This verse is very deep. He created us in His image but asking some to go the ants? Think about it. Let us make 2025 as our year that we will make our parachutes open by learning from those who come on this podcast. Let us value time and we can make it.

Praying to God to connect you to your destiny helpers shouldn’t be looked down upon as you are saying, listening to wise people saying you need to build your library and stopping radio and going to social media are all forms of destiny helpers one needs to pray to come connected with

There are hard truths Mr. Eshun has shared that are self evident truths - as Ghanaians we know our situation is bad yet when knowledge is exposed to us we give all the reasons as to why it wont work - the scarcity mindset we have is the reason we are in this state! Shine your eyes fellow Ghanaian!

It's so exciting learning from this expert who knows how to operate business in Ghana. More experts in other African countries should come online and share their tips. Maybe you should do two-way video interview and share with us

I subscribed to this channel to get information and update myself, am a young entrepreneur. Keep up with your good works bringing experienced entrepreneurs to educate the youth. Well done Coach Ekow Eshun for sharing your experience but what surprises me is that our able enterpreneurs always assume that word "entrepreneur" is for every youth, NO. I don't agree with you on some of things you said. Don't generalize blacks to be always talking about sports and entertainment, and don't forget these matters(sports and entertainment) are ventures people can make money from. Many of the western countries(whites) invest in sports and entertainment, am sure if you own a sporting company you will wouldn't make such sentence..☺. Also most businesses are successful and soaring because of old school friends, if you were unfortunate in that aspect of friends don't generalize it that old school friends are not necessary now because you discovered yourself. What I want to say is that we encourage those who want to be employee (graduates) and those who want to be employers to chase their dreams and become whom they want , because it is possible. I hope my opinion is not offensive , I stand to be corrected. Peace 🤞

Being illiterate and deeply religious are not mutually exclusive; one can embody multiple aspects simultaneously. However, no amount of reading can compensate for a fixed mindset-true growth requires a willingness to change and evolve.

One problem my mum has with me is that I'm always reading 😂 She said I'll never marry. I had my own awakening in junior high and started reading Rich Dad Poor Dad. It was then i realized our problem is our mindset.
