1981 91 Chevy Squarebody lock solenoid replacment and electric window repair

Ive owned this rig for 22 years and the electric windows never seemed to work right. So I decided to do something about it and spent money I didn't need to. Thanks to your video I found out that the rear window guide was in the hole from the lock actuator..... that explains why my windows always got out of the guides haha

Someone put my driver's door to crank window. I'm trying to go back to power. I'm missing two wires that are needed for the switch. J&H pin on window switch. Traced wiring harness up the dash. Can't find where those wires are supposed to go if they were every even there. So stumped. Rest of the wires are in the door along with wiring harness for regulator but don't see the one for power Lock...

Dude.. I have a 85 dually 3 x 3 that we put a 92 5.9 cummins in with a clark 5 speed manual..& i also put a nice flatbed on her... i have the same problem with the window switches, lock switches/solenoids.. i will take you advice and replace starting with the switches.. would you mind sharing some of those part #s.. & where ya'll got em?? not yet. I have a ton of work to do to get the garage set up for fab work and I need to get some metal. I may have to sell a child to pay for it tho...holy crap the price of steel is ridiculous
