I love this channel so much. All the little mistakes (hinges, sd card) and your reactions make this the best. I'm sure you be been asked this before, but have you considered a communal invert set up. I've seen a few others on UA-cam and they're very interesting. I enjoy watching the scaping process of the set ups that aren't well documented in the hobby. Anyways, A+ content!

I will definitely consider this glue in the future... You might like Aquarium hinges (or Living Hinges), clear ones can be found. They tend to be a bit expensive $10-$15 each. But you should be able to get at least a few out of each. And if you get long ones in bulk, for half the price, expecting to use more in the future, it can be worth it.

When curing with a uv light or lamp. Like you would with gel Polish or nails and I use it in jewellery making. Use the curing torch for 1 min and 30 seconds. Or 2 minutes for extra security. For hinges you can use plain vasaline. Hope this helps.. best wishes from the uk. Warwickshire County to be exact where the BTS show is xxxx

This is so beautiful,it looks so natural,I was afraid that with all the sand and rocks that the bottom would fall out but nope. Its going to be so much fun watching the beetles ,I hope u make a long video of them sometime. Love your channel and you are my favorite.
Here's a tip for the hinges..... Get a dry erase marker (for a whiteboard) and on the INSIDE of the bottom glass piece draw a line across with a ruler. Glue your hinges using the line as a guide and then you can wipe the marker off afterwards.
I know Im a little late to the comments but if you have squeaky plastic or even metal you can use graphite shavings to lubricate the issue. We used it on our hamster wheels and it doesnt have oil that will get on your animals and there wont be a smell either.

I have a question. Why not put the doors in the back of the enclosures, so when you put it on a shelf, it sits flush against the wall and it makes a nice display for the front being un-obstructed glass for viewing?

You should get the Australian whistling spider its a large tarantula and it makes a pretty interesting noise
most likely can just use 1 hinge at center or even side as the panel is light and the hinge is wide enough?

Have you tried roughing up the two services that might help make a stronger bond.
Mineral Oil is the best. It is harmless and doesn't get all yucky and go rancid like vegetable oil. I use it on my acrylic avic enclosures.
