In the last 8 years it´s still the best promotional video of cymbals, with all respect to the others amazing drummers out there who did the other ones.
I'm still trying to get my head around it. I don't know how they did it.. but somehow they managed to perfectly mimic the sound of of my trash can lid. So if any of you guys is interested in getting THE original, just drop me a message.
I mean out of all of them, maybe its because I might not be the kind of drummer thats looking for such a dry sounding cymbal... But with that being said I think that the xs20 really stood out here!
The tone of these Big and Ugly cymbals is sooo looow to the point that I am finding it very difficult to even hear. Are they not miced correctly? Looks as though Mark G. is banging away on every cymbal trying to get a semblance of sound out of them. They are VERY OVERPRICED. Was going to purchase a ride but now that I've barely heard them and witnessed the look of pure frustration on Mark G's face I'll pass ~

They do sound odd, but actually thinking about it they almost have an electronic sound.

Sabian are trying to achieve the success of Byzance. For me these just don't work :/
