Small Correction: The card used in the hindered example (found here Hindered 46:41) doesn't work, but the rule is explained correctly. The card reads "Not possible if area contains enemies".
I really enjoyed playing it. I don’t always get this much time with the how to plays that we make. Normally I only play enough to get the rules down before I have to move onto the next project. But this was a lot of fun, can’t wait to play more.

Wasn't expecting to be so interested in this one but your intro video hooked me and now I'm really loving the fail forward idea, the map book, and almost all other design choices I'm seeing! Happy you liked the video :) I really enjoyed playing this one and I’m looking forward to more. Now you got me wondering, what is the price point is going to be? It’s tricky when it comes to campaign games. Because you got to consider all the work that goes into the storytelling and setting up scenarios that are interesting. And a game like this where there’s alternate paths to take, that’s so much more work than just doing a linear story. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. I really hope it does well though.
@@BoardGameCoffee Agreed! I can definitely see the effort put into this, love to see the 3 scenarios on TTS readily available with tutorials and feedback form. All the playtesting is really reflected in the ratings tab on BGG, some great comments there from people that clearly played through the scenarios. It's not uncommon for me to see tumble-weeds in the ratings tab before a campaign but this team really seems to be working hard and doing things right and it shows!

Hey Mark this is a very good, thorough and clear how to play video! This was a lot of work. Thank you! First when I saw the length of the video I thought this must be a very heavy game. But it is intuitive and thematic. I like this game, a lot. This is in competition with Arydia. But I like Agemonia more. (PS the text on the hindered card example makes it not suitable for the hindering rule).

@@BoardGameCoffee I assume that the red boxes with the pages references at the bottom of some cards are only appearing in the Tutorial Box (for you UA-camrs). Are you gonna do a playthrough also (before or after part 2)?
Those reference boxes point you toward the page that describes the rule that explains how to use that card. Although the printed Page number on the card does not match the printed page number In the tutorial book due to re-printing‘s and the game being in development. So I didn’t describe them because I don’t believe they’re gonna be in the final version. At least not beyond the first three tutorial levels.
Have you thought about adding the letter of the Story Card on one of the corners of the card, instead of just the center? This could help players to easily find the right card without having to see the whole card and therefore be spoiled :)

At least nothing concrete to base a video on. I also got the game when everyone else got the game so I didn’t have access to an early copy. And when my copy did arrive I already had a bunch of other projects lined up that I need to get done prior to this one.

I still have to record part two but I have no idea when that’s gonna happen since I couldn’t schedule it because I had no idea when I was actually going to get it. I have no idea how the city portion works yet. When I recorded the original video, those rules were not final. I’ll reach out to the designer and him check the video. I feel stupid, but can someone tell me what "klingon subtitles" means? I keep hearing people referring to this in board game videos and I'm not getting it. :) Thanks!
It’s basically a subtitle setting that creators edit themselves and only displays text corrections for things they might have gotten wrong. So it would just be an option under subtitles like “English“ that you can select, but it would only display text that is meant to correct an error buy the speaker. I haven’t created any Klingon subtitles for this video yet because there are no errors this far. Hope that makes sense

the production quality on this video is outstanding. I wish I could convince my gaming group to play a game with this many rules.
If you watch the video yourself and then walk your friends through the tutorial levels the teach doesn’t seem bad at all. It’s all very gradual. :)

We actually won’t be able to do a play through because we are shipping out the copy we have to another contact creator.
