Love the name Ottilie xxx your gorgeous daughter has a beautiful name Zoe and congratulations on your second child if it’s a boy or a girl I’m sure it’s going to be very beautiful and heathy and happy ❤️❤️❤️
Marigold is *the* quintessential October floral name, I love it so much 💖 While I do prefer Francesca in full I think Cheska is really fresh and fun and definitely wouldn't mind hearing it more. Also loving Opal (a forever favorite) Twila, Caspia, and Amaris! Cosmo, Beckett, Zephyr, and Calix/Calyx are fantastic too. Hartford reminds me of some other names I really love like Eckhart/Eckhardt and Halford, very cool.
Becoming a first-time grandmother in 7 weeks! My kids have picked out two names they're deliberating between for their daughter: Aubrey Jane and Valerie Sarah !! I love both so much. Vallie could be a sweet Valerie nickname, and for Aubrey they'd call her Bree and AJ. They plan to decide once they see her in person. The Sarah middle name is a tribute to my mother Sarah who passed away last year; and I'm pretending the Jane middle name is in honor of me (Janine). Either way, I'm completely delighted!!
Love these new lists, SJ!! I've been a big fan and watching for quite some time (5+ years?!) We named our first Naomi (no regrets - have loved this name! Good people are named this!) We are now expecting baby sister in 3 weeks time. Still searching for the perfect little sister name.
Cheska is a charming name that I had never heard before. Calyx is unusual, I really like it. Heath is nice, Heather has been one of my favs for a while now.
Calyx is also a part of the urinary tract and I think this meaning is way more known (at least by all health care professionals) than the part of the flower meaning so maybe I’d consider it before using the name.
This list is brilliant!! Wow I've never heard Souline but I'm in love. Also Gertie, Dayton, Keats, ahhh so many great names. ☺️ Looking forward to our collab!!
Jorah.. I love that, however, I much prefer the Scottish spelling of Jura, (a small island and famous whisky.) Dayton is gorgeous, really like that a lot. Marigold is super cute, so many options for nicknames too. Beck is one of my favourite boy names, and it's been a favourite for a long time after I read the Shiver series (by Maggie Stiefvater) in secondary school. Love the longer version that you mention here; Beckett. Heath, I've seen that on a lot of lists recently, it's lovely. Heath feels really warm to me. LOVEEEE Kiefer so much, again this has been on my list for a long time. Don't think my husband would go for it but it's definitely on a dream list.
In California, we say Zephyr like, Zefur, (rather than Zef-eeer). We have a beach on Lake Tahoe called Zephyr Cove, very popular, well known, and beautiful place. 🙂
I used to love the name Knox! It was on the list for both my babies before I knew they were girls. But I’m a middle school teacher in the southern US, and the recent influx of students named Knox has absolutely ruined it for me. There’s a Knox in every single class, and he’s often at the center of every classroom commotion. An over-generalization, I know, but still a cautionary tale…!
I love Twilah! I have been wondering myself why Gertrude isn’t more popular, especially with nickname options “Gertie” and “Trudy.” I feel like it ticks so many popular boxes right now!
I love Twilah as well and it makes me think of the twilight time of day. I love Gertie and Trudy, but what do they have to do with the autumn season? Just curious?
Yeah, that was what I thought it must be because she showed a picture of Gertie from ET and talked about rom com names! Some names just sound like a season as well.:)
I’m due early with a little Taurian boy in May this year and looking for some name recommendations. Names I like currently are Edwin, Ruben and Beckett. I’m a bit more adventurous but hubby likes more strong traditional names if you have any that walk the line between both. We live in Australia so baby will be born in Autumn if the names could reflect that cozy time as well. Thanks community
I'm a huge fan of Baby Name Mondays. I'm pretty sure I've watched every one of them 🤣 This is my favourite one yet! Weirdly enough we're adopting a puppy this autumn and my name options are Marigold and Cosmo! Great minds ;) For humans my all time fave boy name is Beck. Beckett is a great long form. Never heard Souline and LOVE it.
@@imaginarygrace-mov that's awesome! Unfortunate his name is sometimes misspelled, but glad to hear people don't think it's too weird, and presumably once people learn how it's spelt they won't have much trouble
Love this list! Caspia is so pretty to me. And I love Beckett and Hartford. We’re pregnant with number three, so I’m on the hunt for names to add to my list to go with siblings Isaac William and Elaina Michelle.
We are having a baby girl next month and naming her Marigold! I hadn't heard you mention it before. I'm in the US and I don't think we have Marigold gloves here. Lucky us. 😉
We called our son Miller, then Knox and finally settled on naming him Charleston because he was definitely a Charlie. He was our foster baby and we adopted him at 2 yrs old. It's hard naming a baby who is already born! Haha!
I suggested marigold but my husband said it reminded him of the gloves, so annoyed I love the name so much! I’ll have to work on him if there is baby number 2
My name is Valinn, the male version is Valen. I have met one Valinda. 3 little girls have been named after me other than that I have not met any others.
Autumn is lonely, but Ian Sibley a summer girl 😎 I had Jora on my girls list. Srunning meaning! Not going to yuck on anyone’s yums, but I am not a fan of Gertie. I personally don’t think the “get” skinned is very pretty.

Hey! Hope you're well. ❤️😊
Keats actually wrote a poem called « To Autumn », which is appropriate for the theme! You could blend Cosmo and Caspia for Cosmia.
I love Cosmia 😍
I met a little girl named cosmia for the first time a couple weeks ago and I really loved it!!
I had a thought about the name Opaline which means something like lustrous rainbow colours 🙂 I love Caspia!
Autumn is my favourite time of year! It’s so beautiful.

Little sister has got to be Sarah-Jane surely?? 😄❤❤❤

I love Marigold as well. ❤ so cute. And Twyla was on my baby name list when I had my little 💕

Excited to watch this but also it makes me need 10 more children just to use all of these amazing names 🤣🙈 xx
I have an Effie Opal! 💕
There is a Heath in my wider family, a great nature name. There are some super names on this list, if you are a bit brave ! Beckett & Kiefer are nice.
Thanks for this list, it’s helping me think of names for my stories
Great list! ❤ I love Marigold! 💛
Ahh I love the name Gertie! So pretty x

Thank you for hygge pronunciation lesson! ❤️ love your jumper
saw a news article the other day with twins boy girl...Opal and Onyx. thought it was soooo cool!
Autumn is the most contemplative of all seasons ❤
I love Twilah! I have been wondering myself why Gertrude isn’t more popular, especially with nickname options “Gertie” and “Trudy.” I feel like it ticks so many popular boxes right now!

@@carolinekirkpatrick3497 I think it's the ET connection? Or maybe just the "rom-com, bookish" vibe for SJ?

Such a lovely person you are. Thank you for your channel ❤
I love Opal and Cosmo! Marigold is pretty but I can’t get over the gloves. I love Saskia 💜
Caspia! What a gem! I love Heath, too.

SJ you must stop listing Opal until I have the chance to have my own little one! Of course I’m joking, I love it popping up, I do hope to use it!
Zephyr
I know a zephyr, and he gets tons of compliments on his name!
@@fizzyhog I love that! That's very reassuring 😊😊

I love these videos so much!
When Harry Met Sally is a favorite of mine, as is You’ve Got Mail ❤
How about Lantana for a girl? It’s a flower name that I’ve never heard as a person’s name.
Love this list! Caspia is so pretty to me. And I love Beckett and Hartford.
We’re pregnant with number three, so I’m on the hunt for names to add to my list to go with siblings Isaac William and Elaina Michelle.
I love the name Astrid James to fit with your other 2 ♡
I ❤ Souline, Opal, Jorah, Twila & Caspia!
Then Beckett & Cosmo, Zephyr, Calyx, Keifer, Keats (+Kit)
I love Marigold and Opal so much! My cousin named her boy Beckett. So cute!
I love Opal, but not with my surname being Paul. First-name-last-names can be so tricky. Especially for the boys in my case. 😭
Marigold, Keats, Kiefer, Opal, Cheska, Jorah, Twila, Caspia, Amaris, Cosmo, Beckett, Hartford, & Zephyr are gorgeous.
Autumn is my favorite season ❤
We are naming our girl Marigold! Opal was our second choice. Wow. :)
I just love the name Autumn is a name for a girl that I just love. I would pair this name with Amore. So it’s Autumn-Amore. So cute!!!
My best friend's mother, who is 80, is named Twila.
We are having a baby girl next month and naming her Marigold! I hadn't heard you mention it before. I'm in the US and I don't think we have Marigold gloves here. Lucky us. 😉

if we have another girl she'll be Opal!! ❤❤❤
I love Knox, Beckett, Hartford, and Caspia is definitely going in my list. I know a woman in her 50zs or 60s maybe named Twyla.
Ooh, Hartford. That's very cool.
My cats are callled Opal and Olive ❤
Hey SJ! Hope you’re well! I just wondered if you’re still doing baby name dilemmas etc?
Thanks❤
summer will always be my fave. but i do suffer from seasonal depression when the sun isnt out
Twyla is from Schitt’s Creek
Hartford is a city in Connecticut that’s so beautiful in the autumn!
Love the name Cosmo and Hartford

Evander is a fab name ❤

Cassian ❤
Beckett is beautiful ❤
I had a coworker named Amaris
My baby brothers nickname is Gertie just spelled differently:)) I think it’s so cute
I love Twila/Twyla. I could see nickname Wiley
I knew a little girl named Zephyr.
My bronze/gold chicken is called Marigold. 😅
Twila is cute ❤
I love the name marigold! My husband does not 😂
I don't have children, but love older names. I love the name Nola and Primula for girls.
Primula was the name of a cream cheese that came in a tube. Don’t know if it’s still made, but takes me right back to the 70’s!

Love the name Opal, but they are considered unlucky so probably why it's not a popular name
I would LOVE to request a Taylor Swift baby name list please 🫶🏼
